Raiders to work out T.J. Houshmandzadeh today...

At 34 years old does Housh have anything left in the tank for a team who brought in his former QB in Cincy? Oakland has to be considered a favorite to win the division if Palmer can shake the rust.

TO is probably thinking WTF!?

He seemed slow last time out in Baltimore so I think this is just a test run to see if he can connect with Palmer.

Thoughts?

^A bit unfair to say.
Palmer really hasn't played yet in over a year, nearly 2yrs. Thrown in at halftime with a deficit, 2 days of practice on a new team and no running back is not a good measure.

Housh played last year and was horrendous. He showed a definite decline over the seasons. Palmer got injured and just stopped.

Palmer should look good this weekend against a garbage denver team and then have a real test @ san diego.

Looking forward to see what happens. Hope it remains competitive to the end.

I think he has a postive impact for the Raiders....he isnt an elite receiver in the league by any stretch of the imagination but he will need to be accounted for by the opposing defense, he will also provide some experience and leadership to a group of very young receivers, this could be a turning point for him that could lead to a couple of productive seasons from T.J. maybe even a fantasy consideration for next year as a #3

Oakland has the fastest receivers in the league. They don't need Hoosh.
