THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PICKING GOLF WINNERS
1. CLOSER with CHARACTER. Certain guys see the finish line and cross it and others are destined for second place.
2. RELAXED CONFIDENCE, FOCUS and a HUNGER to win. It's a mental game and their mind has to be in the right frame with a determination and focus. As Harry Vardon said: "To play well you must feel tranquil and at peace. I have never been troubled by nerves in golf because I felt I had nothing to lose and everything to gain."
3. COURSE. Does the course layout favor the strengths of the golfer and does it expose their weaknesses. Previous form can change immediately for those who feel comfortable on a course and its greens.

Kind of hope the Rams win because the Seahawks going to the playoffs is almost ridiculous. At least the Rams have improved and are fun to cheer for.

As far as primetime - well I guess if it has to. lol

I'm glad. I didn't want my bears playing the packers next Sunday night.

The bears and packers games has been moved from noon central to 3:15. makes sense since fox lost the seattle and rams games to nbc.

There is. it just wasn't listed because it wasn't to be determined until a week before the game.

Based on what I see, I think St. Louis has a terrific chance here & hope they can do it.

In his post-game press conference Sunday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll described Matt Hasselbeck's hip injury as "unusual."

Carroll used the same term for a foot injury suffered by Big Mike Williams earlier this season, and he missed the next three games. Carroll has already ruled Hasselbeck out of practice all this week, and the Seahawks will prepare Charlie Whitehurst to start against the Rams. It looks like Seattle won't have its starting QB for a game that will decide the winner of the NFC West.

The Rams playing at home is a huge benefit to them. They are an improving team and dont look now but they are on a one game winning streak! Seattle has regressed since the beginning of the season and has lost 3 in a row. And they look really bad. I see the Rams taking this one, so good luck to them. Interestingly enough, both teams beat San Diego earlier in the season.

My bad, the game is in Seattle. My mind was clouded after the Pats just clinched snow field advantage through the playoffs.

its going to be a boring ass game, but hope rams make it. fun team to root for, specially after those terrible seasons they had recently.
