Ravens - Steelers AFC Championship game

Will continue to add to this thread thru out the week. Was not looking forward to meeting up with the Ravens for the third time this season but thats the way the cookie crumbles. This Ravens defense is all that and more but I believe by the end of the week you will start hearing how beat up the Ravens are and the spread is going to move. Reed is hurting and their LB are also in trouble with injuries. I have to believe that Pitt -5 is about as good as its going to get. I also think the rookie QB gets exposed going against a defense that is about as healthy as they have been all season. Having a healthy Willie Parker is huge. I am going to take the Steelers -5 because I can see this line going up thru out the week.

Steelers -5

Line is moving so I am glad I jumped on early.
Going to add in the AZ UN 47/, like this play as both defenses have been playing very well plus I think both teams come out slow not wanting to take any risk. I had this game at 43 so I will take a shot that they over shot the real number. GL

AZ UN 47/

Adding in one more play,, this is a hunch play more then anything but I feel this Steelers game goes over the total. With the chance of points coming from the offense and defense this one could fly over this total. I know about their defenses I just have a hunch that this game goes over. The total is about as low as they will take a NFL game. It could end up 17 - 10 but I think we are looking at a game more like 27 - 17.

Steelers OV 34

Like the Over play, but that's all I can agree with. Sunday can't get here soon enough!

think it's safe to tease the total 10 points and have the over at 23.5?

keep calling him a rookie why don't you. every rookie qb goes to the afc championship. yours just happened to choke whereas ours will not. 4 turnovers in that game i believe... ugly.

BOL Steel
I got in late with -6 but that is allright... feeling a solid 10 point win here. Also like the total, going a little smaller on the O34.
Go Steelers Rock-n-Roll Time

You must remember that the Ravens were dominated by Tennessee. Only mistakes gave Baltimore that win. Pittsburgh would appear to have a better offense, because they have speed. Baltimore's defense is very slow. Tennessee burned them with speed in the first half, but lost their speedster due to a sprained ankle. That really hurt Tennessee. The kid had what, 75 yards in the 1st quarter and a half? The Pitt defense is going to feel like it is on a vacation playing against Flacco, rather than Rivers. I see this as a low scoring game. At first, I was going to take the points, but after reviewing both game films, I can not do it.

"Shane Falco" is going to feel the true wrath of the Steelers Defense in this 3rd meeting. The Ravens better make a call to Keanu Reeves and have all the Ravens sing "I will survive" after the beat-down Pitt puts on them.

Steel, Sorry to clutter

birdman and bmraven, start your own threads. Trust me I won't post in them as I don't value your opinion at all.

Actually Troy Poly is a little nicked up (calf) and Hartwig ( knee ) have not practiced yet this week but both expected to play.. Troy is a little concerning he hurt it last week in warm up and was not very active vs the Bolts.. Should be a game for the ages .. Mucho respect for the Ravens.. They have hurt us before.. LOL you know its a big rival when the fans of each team do not even like each other.. Big week for a young improving O-Line.. Step up week.. I love the play of Darnell Stapleton on the line he has been an unsung surprise.. The injury to Simmions could have been a killer.. I think Stapleton is an upgrade IMO.. Buckle down the hats the Ravens are in the house.. Pitt 23 Balt 13

I think it's way more fun to agitate a Steelers fan who doesn't want to hear any opinion contrary to his own.

Once again you show little football smarts. I love reading and learning about football. I like reading this board for info and knowledge on certain teams. Much value here but we have problem, your not part of it so go away already. Really, you can't cap all you can do is talk shit. Typical phucken dumba$$ NFL fan. You know very little about the game and you add no value to learning what it takes to be a good capper. So I might ask you, why are you here ? Oh thats right your here to talk shit. Why don't you go play on the freeway.
