Ray Lewis to Dallas?

Looks like Jerry is at it again.

http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn...c.php?t=509084

As a Cowboy fan I could go for this move though. If Jerry isn't going to go after a coach that can help take charge of the locker room maybe Ray can help. Although he is on the downside of his career I am all for trying it just to establish some leadership on this team.

Sidenote....A buddy of mine is the head trainer at a 4A High School (Randall High) near Amarillo, where Zach Thomas' niece (older brother Bart's daughter) attends. My buddy told me today that Zach told Bart he had no intentions of going back to Dallas, even for $30 million!! To me that says a lot for where Zach thinks the organization is at.

I am glad we let Pacman go and Tank will so follow since he is a free agent. I would still like to see TO go but maybe, just maybe signing Ray Lewis could help the Boyz get their balls back. Who knows?

I have been thinking about this for a while...

The idea is good, but Ray Lewis is the leader at Bmore because he has been there forever. Its hard to just bring some guy in and automatically be "the guy" in the locker room... If anyone can do it it would have to be ray ray tho

with ya PB....I agree that the dude is not a "good guy" by any means, but I am sick of the blind leading the blind. Ray could give the team some much needed leadership and championship experience. Big question is will they follow if it happens??

I really don't care to have Pacman back at all. Newman at one corner, Jenkins at the other and let Henry play strong saftey. That's what I would love to see, but we will see.

I understand u gotta give chit a try to improve but a person like Lewis who in no way will want to be there and will just try and get a couple paychecks is not the answer. Get rid of the pacmans tank johnsons and would keep TO. The coach and the O Coordinator r a main source of probs. It doesnt help that I would guess the majority of the locker room has turned against the jailhouse snitch Whitten.

why ? because he had a scuffle in a hotel room ? lol

pacman improved over the season since game 1 and was looking great... Much better than Jenkins was evn though he was a rookie. If anything that would be some killer depth specially when you know newman is going to be hurt for a few games.

lmao @ the people saying get rid of tank johnson

the dude was one of the most positive guys on the TEAM in the locker room last year. Just shows how out of touch everyone is that loves to run their mouths like they know what they are talking about.

Why do think Witten is the "snitch"? Regardless he is one of the very few on that team with some balls.

seeing as how it has been reported that he was screaming "I'm a free agent baby!" after the Philly game, I would have to disagree. You are not in the locker room either Cuse.

no, but I will choose to listen to people who actually are.

and the point is people are talking about tank johnson as being a minus in the locker room because of his past history when really he actually did what he could to keep things cool in the locker room during the season

tank wasn't being uses anyways, and already knew he was not being brought back
