Redskins 5 downs?

I didnt watch the game .. had the redskins +1.5 and saw they got stopped on 4th down the next thing I knew they scored a TD ... A buddy told me after the game that the Skins got 5 downs? is he messin with me or can someone confirm this?

They gave em the TD and then made them miss the xtra point so they could cover with the 2 points

Technically no. On 3rd down they spotted an Anthony Armstrong catch a 1st down, when he was clearly short by nearly a yard. Despite being short they moved the chains and counted it as a first down. Bad spot led to them being able to score the touchdown after what would have been a 4th down incompletion, that was actually 2nd down due to the bad spot.

Thanks for clarification appreciate it. I can't believe I hit that with skins so lucky .. had bad beats go the other way also, but sorry to those who took bucs

That is not correct. First down- Nine yard catch. Second down-Missed fade in EZ. Third down- Run for loss of 5. Fouth down-Pass out of the EZ. FIFTH down-TD. Watched it. BAD CALL!
