Rex tells jets they are better

INDIANAPOLIS — Rex Ryan stood before his players last night in the final team meeting before today’s AFC Championship game and told them they’re better than the favored Colts.

One player described the meeting inside the team hotel to The Post as intense.

“[Ryan] was fired up,” the player said. “He talked about respect and how we still don’t get respect we deserve, that people still don’t think we belong here. Obviously they think they let us win last time.

“One good point he made that was pretty poignant was that he believes the sum of our parts is greater than the one great player [the Colts] have in Peyton Manning. We believe that, outside of [Manning] they’re an average team with some good players like Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, [and defensive ends Dwight] Freeney and [Robert] Mathis.” Kerry Rhodes tweeted last night: “rex was fired up 2nite!! the disrespect card is big for us and we love it!!”Ariveting air of anticipation engulfed the Jets as they arrived late yesterday afternoon, poised to earn their first Super Bowl appearance in 41 years.

This all stems from when Rex was 10 years old & Buddy told him, Rex you are not fat & ugly, it's what's inside that matters & you're better than all them mean kids saying that.

Probably not, you underestimate all the Cowboy and Charger hate here, and overestimate Jet hate. After they lose it will only be us Fins fans laughing at you, the rest of the mall will go back to not caring about the Jets one way or another, they are an insignificant franchise here and we will enjoy taunting their 3 fans on here at roughly 6:30 tonight, see you then
