RM's Action - 11/25/10 (( Happy Thanksgiving! ))

Happy Thanksgiving! To everyone here at the Mall and your families. Enjoy the day.

Detroit Lions +7.5(-115)
Detroit is 0-6 SU and ATS in it's last six games on Thanksgiving Day. The Patriots are 32-5 SU vs. NFC teams since 2001. With that said, everything points to an easy New England win and cover but I think the Lions will come to play today. I can see this game being a shootout and Detroit will have a good opportunity late in the game to upset the Patriots. Detroit isn't any where close to as bad as their overall win-lose record(2-8) and they have a solid 7-3 ATS record this year. The Lions are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and they are also 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. teams with a winning record.

Cincinnati Bengals +9(-105)
Cincinnati has lost the last 8 straight games played vs. the Jets in New York. The Jets beat the Bengals last year in the playoffs. Cincinnati has a not so great 3-7 ATS record so far this year. With all that bad material mentioned, a good stat I came across earlier this week is that the Jets are 6-14 SU and 2-18 ATS in games before visiting New England. The Bengals are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games played in Week 12 and New York is also 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games played in November. Apparently the Jets haven't won a Thanksgiving Day game since 1962, which means little to this good New York team but I think they might be looking ahead. I understand that Cincinnati owns the current longest losing streak(lost 7) but tonight they will play for Marvin Lewis and his job to remain head coach there, winning this game SU.

(Wagers) < DET > 23 units to win 20 units < CIN +340 > 7 units to win 23.8 units < CIN > 42 units to win 40 units
