Rookieees full 9/20 nfl card with write~ups

CINCY BENGALS VS GREEN BAY PACKERS

i had this matchup circled after last weeks sub-par performances featuring these two teams... Both cincy and green bay had their game come down to the final minute in deciding the outcome.... Unfortunately only one of them comes into this game 1-0....

The cincinnati bengals were well backed by many here at the mall to easily beat on the denver broncos, yet failed to even win the game with 30 seconds left in regulation after they scored.... They still managed to put up 300 total yards, average 6.7 yards a catch and find out that cedric benson can be featured in their offense despite the teams 3.2 average on the ground per a carry.... Being in long 3rd down situations was the reason for their 5-15 3rd down conversion rate in that game.... I find that this offense will be vastly improved once they get someone else involved besides ocho and caldwell ..... Chris henry who had a terrific preseason had only 1 catch and that was in the 1st quarter.... Laveranues coles 1 catch .... Someone needs to step up and i feel that this will be the week....

The reason I believe the bengals offense will show up in this game is the green bay packers and them being at home again.... Last weeks 21 points they scored were about a touchdown below their home average last season (27.3) in aaron rodgers first full season as starter....the packs offense last season finished 5th in the league in points (26.2), 8th in passing yards (238.3), and 8th in total yards (351.3).... With dom capers 3-4 defense showing people what its capable of by last weeks 4 interceptions by jay cutler, you can be sure that turnovers will turn to more points against these bengals....therefore the bengals will have to open up the offense a little more this week to keep up with the packers if they dont want to start the season 0-2.... Especially with the pittsburg steelers coming to town next week where they own the bengals on their home field going 10-1 ats in their last 11.

ROOKIEE FINAL THOUGHT:

the packers went 4-4 su / 3-5 ats at home last year .... They really need to get that advantage they used to put into opponents minds coming into lambeau field..... And that will need to be today as they go on the road for 3 of 4 games after this one....not to mention that minnesota and brett favre have a home/away in 2 of the next 5....... Cincinnati has to show up for this game like i mentioned earlier and despite last seasons woes, last weeks performance ~ they still have the talent to play with anyone when they are up for it.

9******* CINCY / GREEN BAY OVER 41.5 (Legends)

DETROIT LIONS VS MINNESOTA VIKINGS

another game that i circle earlier in the week... I have went back and forth with this game all week and was about to throw it out when i just figured to stop reading into the game too much and just go by the talent.... I realized that detroit covered 7 out of 8 as a 10 point dog last season and that they covered both games against minnesota when they were favored by more than 10 ...i realize that rookie qb stafford hadan average game when you minus the late turnovers by being far behind..... But the bottom line is this, the minnesota viking defense is still intact and is far superior than what the saints showed qb stafford ....the lions scored on a 65 yard fumble recovery and 10 other points were scored off of turnovers in new orleans territory..... Unless the turnovers happen again and the lions capitilize off them , i just dont think they have a chance in this game without stopping adrian peterson .... The lions gave the saints running backs 4.5 yards every carry, although that number might be a little stretched due to the passing game the saints had... I still believe the defense will give stafford fits and even though minnesota is a little more one dimensional without a lot of trickery, i have to believe they pull this one out with ease without the use of brett favres arm....

6***** MINNESOTA VIKINGS -10
3*** DET / MINN UNDER 45.5

NEW ORLEANS VS PHILLY

phillys defense is good enough to make this one stay under the total and interesting which is why the 1 point spread, not to take anything away from brees but phillys offense doesnt change much with different qb that much... Can the eagles pull this one out at home ?? If defense holds then its possible they could, but brees has too many weapons..... Late fg wins this one and ill side with new orleans and the under here!!!

4*** SAINTS -1
3*** NO / PHI UNDER 45.5

OTHER GAMES

3** THE JETS +3.5 ~~ the new pretty boy takes over bradys spot...the commercials come next
1* BUCS / BILLS over 42 ~~ another buffalo shootout
1* REDSKINS -9.5 ~~ thanks db ... im still looking up to ya... best of luck
1* GIANTS +3 ~~ thanks brother love... best of luck
