MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

PITTSBURG VS SAN FRANCISCO

Well tonights monday night matchup is right in my backyard and i should know this 49er team inside and out... but the fact is i really have had troubles playing with or against them despite their 10-2-1 record against the spread.... so i will once again play into the total tonight with some strong monday night stats in our favor....

this year there has been 38 prime time games besides the thanksgiving games... and there has been an under half in 30 of those games (79%) which is outstanding no matter how you look at it..... But what makes this play even more interesting is that out of the 15 Monday Night Football Games this season, there has been an under half in each of those games (93% of the time or 14 out of those 15 games).... but there is some frosting to go on top of this cake.... of those 15 monday night games, 12 of the 15 went under in the first half !!!

There is no doubt what these 2 teams bring on the defense side of the ball

San Francisco brings a #1 rush def / # 19 pass def
Pittsburg brings a #6 rush def / #1 pass def

Yet i have noticed that both of these teams havent really been playing anyone, so i had to look at the offense of both teams...

Now pittsburg has averaged 21 points in its last 4 games against the defenses of cle, cin twice and kc... they have been consistent as an offense over their last 4 games but where they have succeeded most was in their running game as their last 4 games have increased in average YPR in each game from 3.5/3.9/4.1/5.3 .... they have rushed for 31.5 attempts per a game during this period and likely will continue to try and pound SF front 7 in hopes that they will tire out late.... especially with big ben being a little soft, but dont let they be your only reason ~ ben is ben and he will play with a broken leg..

As for san francisco this is what i do know.... most san franciscans have been hiding out from the public since the fall of this franchise.... we have been so anti-niner, anti-coach, and anti-alex smith for sometime.... in fact it probably took the first 6 weeks of the season going 5-1 and winning 3 road games against cincy, philly and detroit to make any believer that this team was different from the past teams... since the bye week this team has won 5 of their last 7, and grant it they have lost their last 2 of 3 ~~1 against his brother in balty and last weeks game in a rematch with arizona at their house ( cards tough at home against niners )... i just think that these niners and their fans have finally got something believe in .... reports of the tailgating have been coming into me all morning from last night....this team isnt built like the glory niner days with offense, they are built with defense and in those 7 games after the bye they have played under the total 5 times including 3 of their last 4 at their home stadium of candlestick park ....

look for a tough football game tonight from both sides, but look for us to get an under half tonight !!!!

10**** UNDER CHASE TO WIN 1 HALF ~~ LEG A ~ UNDER 19.5 POINTS
