Picks will be the critical thing here. Minny has a decision to make. Do they give up more than they want, knowing that Favre is basically finished, and go for one big season, even though they are in an 0-2 hole, or do they hold out for what they want to give up?

i dont think favre is done...i think he needs some wrs. berrian is trash and harvin drops td passes...if they pick up vjax they will make the playoffs and probably be one of the favs in the nfc. favre just needs reps

Yeah, i think what he's saying is favre is finished after this season - so they can give up draft pick(s) and go for one big season this year, when they're already 0-2, or they can keep their pick(s) and start building for the future, since they have a good defense and great young back.

I'd hold out if i were the vikings, and plan for next year, - but I doubt they do

if im minn and willing to pay him i would trade the picks for him...likely a 2 and something else. You will have one of the best wrs in the game for at least a few years and a top rb. you can always go out and find a qb to plug in there that will be quite succesful after favre...they did make the playoffs with tavaris

Damn they just spent a #1 on Harvin, gonna have to pay Sidney Rice and are paying Berrian $7 million, now they are going to need to pay VJax too, yet wont have a starting QB after this year? This is panic mode. VJax wants $30 million guaranteed and 9 per and they will need to give up a second rounder plus more I'm guessing. VJax is a great WR, but I dont think its worth it for this franchise.

Good for Farve.....still think a lot of the problem is his health..but he clearly does not have the weapons he had last year

So what does a Fantasy Football owner that has Sidney Rice do if VJax is a FA?

If/when VJax is traded to Minnesota it will only be a 1 yr deal pro rated for around 7 million. Word is they gave Favre an extra $3 million to come back and play this season so getting him someone to throw to is no brainer.

Personally wish it was someone that could come in and help immediately but right now best option they have. SD gets compensatory 3rd rd next season if VJax leaves so Vikings have to offer better than that if they want him.

Agree with PB McNabb will be in purple next season.

Vick to VJax and Rice and Harvin and AP.

Going to be dirty next year.
