I am not so sure they win the west. If you look at it, Denver has the easier schedule.

It may come down to the final game of the year against Denver to decide the west.

hmmm, interesting thread.

hopefully it doesn't end up with all the talk about 1 team, but I would say over.

Chargers might be able to win the west by winning 9 games guys.

Jacksonville seemed to hit their stride a little bit but then they hiccup against cleveland.

Indy needs to get healthy NOW otherwise they're phased out.

Probably, though I still don't know what to think with the Chargers as they have traditionally started slow

Same goes with Indy. If they're 100% healthy and clicking at the end of the year, they could win a playoff game or 2.

really?

the chargers have 5 home games

the broncos have mia/buff at home, both tough games AND have to go on the road to:

carolina
cleveland
atlanta
nyj
san diego

Its hard to see them winning any of those games and they are without bailey for 6 weeks. And if it does come down to the last game against denver, might as well punch sd's playoff ticket

i think under. chargers are the most likely, but i wouldnt put it past them to choke it away... again.
and regardless of which one makes it, i agree with romo, it is 1 and done.
the afc is weak... but not that weak.

its pretty damn weak...basically you're saying its a lock for tenn or buff/pitt to win their first home game as a top 2 seed? are we watching the same teams here?

tenn or pats/pitt. not a lock, there is no such a thing. but i would be willing to put something on it right now. pitt probably the weakest of the 3.

tenn is going to keep any playoff opponent in the game for the whole game no matter what, plus i'm still not sold on them. ne is no lock, shit they barely beat stl. buff and pitt aren't either. If the chargers do make the playoffs, I would like their chances in any of those places...except pitt might be the toughest

i agree with tenn; they are not convincing, but since everyone in the AFC is trying to give the games away, it is par for the course, basically every team is letting everyone stay in the game. NE is not lock, but i like their chances. Coaching staff doing a good job of winning without their key players and bringin Cassel along. Foxboro always a tough place to play. Pitt looks tough now, wonder how they will look once Ben keeps taking the beating for the next 10 weeks. No more byes for them, so in 3 weeks he might be out for the season.

I am really disappointed in SD myself; i thought they had a great chance at the beginning of the season, but they are choking it away again. they might come back to win the division, but it is not as clear. if they keep playing the way they are, they will not win a playoff game.
