Shockey............
What's up with that punk?? Getting drunk up in the luxury boxes instead of being on the field with his teammates. Dude is a great player, but it is no mystery that Eli started playing better the day he go hurt. Tiki was a dick and had no respect for Eli and Shockey was constantly crying for the ball, which had to be emotionaly draining for Eli. Both guys were great players, but were a complete downer on Eli and "bad" teammates. They are both more interested in themselves and put the team on the backburner. The minute Tiki was gone and Shockey got hurt Eli clearly elevated his game. Boss is a good player. Trade Shockey and get rid of the baggage!

no one criticized tiki when he initially made the comment, only when the giants started winning

Shockey said that his leg was too sore to stand on the sidelines the whole game and he did not want to risk getting hit while down there.
Totally agree that they played a lot better after he went out. He is a cancer in that locker room and they would be better off without him.

Wow! I didn't hear that excuse. I think a better excuse would be that he didn't want to get a public intoxication ticket while standing on the sideline and that it is much easier to get fadded in the luxury boxes! |

Alot of teams do not even let injured players travel with the team let alone be on the sidelines. The players look at is as a distraction as they do not want to think about what could happen to them. The best thing that Shockey did was not travel with the team and stay off the sidelines. I wouldnt care how drunk he got as long as he wasnt in the huddle.
