Should John Fox just start sending Bill Cowher....

his player evaluations and playbooks now so that Bill can get a jumpstart on next season?

For years Fox has been suppose to get to the SuperBowl. Maybe one of the most over rated coaches in the NFL. Hope Bill does get back into the NFL.

fox has been one of the most underrated coaches in the league, the fact that a few recognized that fact doesnt mean he has underperformed

he has done more with less then any coach in the league

anyone who truly knows the nfl, knows he will not be looking for a job long when he ie released from his contract aftr this season

Romo. when you look at the sky is it black. For the last 5 years all I have heard is that Carolina was going to be the NFC Champion. Is this not true ? They were on top of a lot of peoples top 10 lists over the years. If its not him then why have they not been able to get over the hump ? If you say its talent then why do NFL sports writers pick them year in and year out ? It will be interesting to see how much better their next coach does. And your statement about EVERYONE WHO KNOWS THE NFL means nothing. Statements like these are your way of trying to make you feel that you know more then others. Show me a coach that doesn't look for a job after he is let go. They do one of the two things, retire or try and get another job. He is by far not the worst coach in the NFL so it is obvious that perhaps Detroit may want him.

St. Pierre, who had last practiced in January as he finished a stint with Arizona, was spending his days taking care of his 18-month-old son in the Boston area and doing some television work when he was signed to the practice squad on Friday. He was promoted to the active roster Tuesday.

He joked Wednesday that they put his locker by the offensive linemen because they're "trying to tell me something about my waistline." After splitting time with the first team Wednesday he said it was "surreal" to think he might start.

Although he’s done some great things for the Panthers, the one thing Fox never has been willing to do is change. He’s as conservative as they come. Yes, St. Pierre may have been around longer than Pike. But you don’t make a move like this when you’re in a full-blown youth movement.

Last time i checked he did take the panthers to the super bowl where they gave NE all they could handle.

Screw this st. pierre guy, what a joke. They should start Armanti Edwards. He was a dirty QB at App. State (yes I'm aware that was at App. State) but now they switched him to receiver, need a qb, and won't give him a shot. He's athletic and can ovbviously throw the ball.... All the other panthers QBs only possess one of those traits so why not give him a shot?

for years panthers ownership has made the team the least favorable for free agents to go to

and the hardest team for a head coach to have success, and despite this fox has made teams competitive for the most part

ownership has refused to sign assistants to long term deals, only one year contracts, as a result they all leave after a year

peppers left not because of fox but because of ownership as an example..

he gets the most out of the 2nd 3rd and 4th string players of any coach in the league...

this is why some years they were talked about as possible nfc front runners, not because they were loaded with talent

but because of fox, and a few key players, that he had a part in devolping

steve smith was a kick returner, 3rd pick nobody wanted, jake delhomme was an nfl europe qb for christs sake

anyone who knows nfl knows the teams few successful years are because of him 100%

He wont be unemployed for long he is very well respected around the league

if Vikings decide to let Childress go and not bring in Childress would love to see them bring in Fox. With Wilf being lifetime NY Giants fan wouldn't surprise me to see him on his short list.

John Fox will be a possible head coaching candidate in Cincinnati if the Bengals aren't able to agree to terms with Marvin Lewis...

if what Romo says is accurate isn't the Bengals situation virtually the same as Carolina?
