Jason La Canfora reported Sunday that former San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Singletary is expected to reach a deal to become the Vikings' linebackers coach, according to a source.

I agree

Great hire

I think the dude is an awesome defensive coordinator or LB coach like this. Not head coach though, I just dont think he works well with offenses, his attitude and style is a much more successful on defenses IMO

Some day Singletary will make a good head coach. IMO, he needs more experience. This is a great hire by Minnesota. He will do fine as the LB coach and some day defensive coordinator. He also gives Frazier someone to talk with about the pitfalls of a head coach......
