So I'm listening to Mike & Mike in the Morning on the drive in...

and Greenberg is suggesting that Favre should have sent Rodgers a congratulatory text...

WTF should he? The moment Favre sends that text, the media and the rest of the world would say "Here he is again trying to get a piece of the spotlight"...

STFU Greenie - you are a big part of the reason that we had to here a day-by-day up date on Favre... it's all media generated.

So lay off the guy... please.

that is all...

Havve to disagree. Farve brought all of this on himself. Media isn't the one who retired over and over again.

I agree, I think it did Rivers a lot of good to sit behind Brees for 2 seasons as well. But I dont think that means if Rivers wins a Super Bowl that he's owed a congratulations text from Brees

my point is the media is the one that wants to re-hash and bring him back into the mix b/c they have nothing else to talk about.

They ciriticize him no matter what he does - whether it be somehting or nothing.

Haha not me

They should be putting the pressure on the two sides to get a deal done now rather than talking about Favre

disagree - it's the media that gives the whole thing legs... they take it where and as far as they wanna take it...

I don't give a shit - I'm just tired of hearing about the very day happenings of someone's life... and I hate Twitter btw... who gives an F... I like to watch highlights and S on ESPN and other shows... get some scores... I can't control whether or not ANALyst A is going to tell me who tweeted what...

Greenie is known for this BS, biggest gossiper ever. I do not respect him as a radio guy because all he does is try to make a story out of nothing that true fans want nothing to do with. Stopped listening to them awhile ago and every time I turn it on it lasts about 5 minutes.

He should go to E! news

A R was on Letterman last night..D L asked him about his situation with Favre. A R responded "I was the one who got all the reps, in the off season and he got all of them in the regular season," with a wry smile.

was funny
