Some fun(ny) stats going into Week 7

I got bored at work so I decided to look some stuff up.

Drew Brees is on pace to throw 5300+ yds.
Last guy to top 5000 yards: Dan Marino in 1984. The LA Raiders won the Super Bowl that year, defeating Washington 38-9.
So what does this tell us? 5000+ yards does not a Super Bowl QB make.

New England has scored a total of 89 points this season, outscoring the likes of offensive juggernaut teams such as:
Cincinnati (88)
Cleveland (81)
Oakland (81)
Baltimore (78)
Detroit (76)
Kansas City (65)
St. Louis (62)
Oh how the mighty have fallen.

LaDainian Tomlinson's turf toe has had more press this year than Chad Johnson. Ouch.

Buffalo, Arizona and Tennessee are winning their divisions.
Atlanta has a winning record.
Miami's 2 wins this year were against New England and San Diego.
Please all join me in taking a moment and letting that sink in.

I'm sure I could find more, but these alone just tell you the story of this year in the NFL so far. Good times are ahead, my friends.
