Steelers Center Maurkice Pouncey will sit out on Sunday

Not good news for the Steelers--kid is important to their offense.

Steelers Pouncey won't play Sunday

Steelers Pouncey won't play Sunday
Friday, January 06, 2012
By Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey, who aggravated his injured left ankle against the Cleveland Browns last Sunday and again in practice on Wednesday, will not play in Sunday's wild-card playoff game in Denver, the Post-Gazette has learned.

It is the second postseason game in a row Pouncey will miss because of an injury to the same ankle. He did not play against Green Bay in Super Bowl XLV because of a high-ankle sprain.

The Steelers do not have to officially update Pounce's status until after practice today.

Guard Doug Legursky, who is returning after missing the previous game with a left shoulder separation, will start at center. Former starter Chris Kemoeatu will replace Legursky at left guard.

Pitt is in major trouble. Their offense is becoming extinct. Even if they get past Denver, they have no chance against New England, and a very slight chance against Baltimore. As good as their defense is, you cannot win games if you do not score points, and The Pats and Ravens are NOT the Bronco's.

One reason my home is fully protected with halon gas system every floor

it suffocates any fire by taking away the oxygen and it is clean and safe non toxic !
