Suicide Pool

Hello Mall,
Been a member for a while but don't post a lot. I appreciate all the great insight this forum has to offer!

I'm looking for a little of that insight now... I'm in a pretty big suicide pool and it's down to me and one other. They have Indy this week and I'm pretty much out of heavy odds favorites. I've listed my three choices this week and I'd love to hear what you all think would be my best option... and why if you have an extra minute. Team underlined and bold would be my obvious choice.

Washington @ Cincinnati

New England @ Oakland

Buffalo @ Jets

Other teams left would be DAL, BAL, SD, KC, SF, TB, ATL, SEA, STL, GB, HOU, MIN, DEN, CLE, CIN, DET, OAK... I just don't think any of these are options.

Looking forward to your comments. Thanks in advance!

GB is definitely an option.
ATL is definitely an option.
SD is definitely an option.

Out of the 3 you have chosen, though, I'd lean New England. Out of all 3 matchups, the Raiders are the spoilers I'd worry least about. Until they learn how to throw a ball, they shouldn't be too much of a concern.

I'd go with the Jets. I think Cincy wins SU this week, and New England either has Cassel starting without practicing this week or his backup is starting.

Thanks Nac & sesh...

I was worried about NE because of Cassel and they've got some injuries on defense. They didn't look great against SEA last week and it's their second game in a row out west.

I really liked Washington until this whole Portis/Zorn thing happened but now I tend to agree that Cincy might win or it will be closer than originally thought.

Nac...
Not so sure about GB on the road with no defense. ATL at home does look nice but I would have liked better if TB won on Monday night. ATL playing great right now and Carolina was able to run against TB.

hey stone,

how do u have 20 teams left in a suicide pool. just double check to make sure you dont have a team on there twice...you should be down to 19 teams. 32 teams and 13 weeks played.

anyways i would take the jets....bills are done..jp losman isnt winning any games for them. they even talked about going to the 3rd string maybe. jets should at least win this one..they need it.

Thanks ronoldo... my bad... I don't have BAL anymore either. Missed them when I circled my options this week.

I was thinking the Jets are due after a couple losses. They're not that bad a football team and can run the ball well. Jets won back in week 9 in Buff, usually don't like taking team to win division games twice but agree Buff is hurting.

You're right. GB's defense hasn't been great at all. But dude, Jacksonville is shit. Period. GB wins this by 10-15 points.

Tell me about it Bisket... that's my dilemma! Did you see what I have left too? The other player has Indy left this week against Detroit... at home no less. Who might you suggest out of what I have left? I feel like I'm flipping a coin this week

So far it's...

Jets - 3
New England - 1
GBay - 1

Not to be the look ahead guy but I would use NE this week and save the Jets for next week against Seattle

Jets have played 3 teams on the west coast that are a combined 13-26 and lost to all 3 of them. I'd rather use NE next week home to Arizona coming east at 1pm in a meaningless game for the Cards.

I wouldnt take new england if I were you, its thier 2nd game in a row against a rested underachieving team at home. I think Raiders defense will be playing highly motivated against Moss. Cassel losing his dad is NOT good for his play imo. Inspirational or what ever you call it, he will be exuasted and you cant blame him. He allready has dealt with an enormus amount of pressure this year, I feel bad for him, there is no way to block it out with all the cameras and questions etc.

I would stay away.

Out of those i think you have to go with the Chargers
