Thumbs up Sunday With your Sportsjunkie

12/14/2008 @ 05:15 PM NFL [330] DALLAS -3-110
110.00 100.00

This is a BEST BET*****

Pro Football Best Bet NY Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3) (8:15PM ET) (NBC)

Without Plaxico Burress the Giants receiving corps did not step up last week. If you remember last season early on Burress was often injured and the Giants struggled offensively. Eli Manning was just 13/27 with no #1 wide receiver to throw to last week at home. The Cowboys defense has began to improve and is putting pressure on the quarterback. Eli Manning is vulnerable in this spot on the road without his main weapon in the passing game. Last weeks offensive showing by the Cowboys was greatly impacted by the weather in Pittsburgh and that wont be the case here. Here is the Cowboys point totals with Romo behind center at home this season: 41, 24, 31, 35 and 34. He gets it done in front of the home folks. The Cowboys must have this game and the Giants are not the same offensively missing their #1 weapon in the passing game. Your Best Bet for Sunday NFL is taking Dallas.

burress game stats since he's so important:

wk1 10 133
wk2 5 81 1TD
wk3 3 45
wk5 0 0
wk6 4 58 1TD
wk7 3 24 1TD
wk8 3 15
wk9 3 34
wk10 1 17 1TD
wk11 3 47
wk 12-14 0 0

hasnt exactly been a world beater with 35 catches for 454 and 4 tds. more than a quarter of his yards and catches came in 1 game. he worked himself out of the offense quite sometime ago. just food for thought
