Super Bowl Tips: The best bets from the specials markets

While the coaches, coordinators and analysts involved in Super Bowl XLVI have been spent copious hours picking their way through game tape I’ve had my head buried in the statistical records in an attempt to find some potential wagers in the specials markets on Betfair.

A half-century of markets are already available and I’m sure that that will be a few more on Betfair before game time on Sunday night. There should be something for everyone.

Three of the last four Super Bowls have been decided by six points or less and in a year where the handicap line is gradually shortening towards a “pick-em” game it set me thinking about the field goal kickers from each team and the part that they could play.
