Which team has been the biggest bust/flop this season?

To me its a no brainer, Cincy. With the amount of talent they have and how they have actually performed wow

Maybe you disagree? which team for you?

Bengals have been a flop for sure. How about 49ers & Texans, both we're supposed to take the next step but bombed out.

#1 has to be the Vikings though

hmmm

I think it is a real tough race between the 49rs and the vikings, and I would put the 9ers in front only because we knew farve was a time bomb and they never did anything about there backups... it was all riding on farve just like last year. I also think most expected farve to take a decent step back as well which meant the vikings took a step back. 49ers on the other hand was "fake sleeper" team. I say fake, because if your everyone's sleeper team... how can you be a sleeper team ? They play in the worst division in football, and might not make playoffs.

I don't really consider cincy a flop only because I don't think anyone really expected them to be a contender, and losing has become the norm there.

Just to elaberate why I said the Bengals.....the view comes from watching their games, which I've watched at least half of their games, in full this season. They havn't even been competitve in alot of the games and look totally inept on both sides of the ball. Some of the most uninspiring play I've seen in my life of watching the NFL.

I would rank the 49ers ahead (eg more of a bust) than the Vikings. But both rightly in the discussion.

49ers & Texans!

Get rid of Alex Smith!

The Texans lost so many games this season in the last few minutes it`s pitiful!

I'm not saying this team is WORSE than cincy of sf or some others but --

GB is the team imo that is least meeting expectations. The Lions game was the icing on the cake, showing that with Rodgers they got 0 points and with the backup they got 3, and lost 7-3 to the lions.

Look at their performances and wins and losses and compare to expectations before the season and it becomes clear to me they are the biggest disappointment -- compared to expectations

GB has a ton of injuries, hard to be competitive when all of Rodgers weapons are out for the year

Always wise words from Quad, Dallas is #1 on my list and definately the Colts if they miss the playoffs. I can't put the 49ers up there since I think they will win the West still.

I'm going to switch to Dallas but for a slightly different reason --

I've seen teams give up before but that's a lot different than allowing your players to initiate a mutiny to get rid of their coach and pay no price for it.

Before the firing...never competitive. After the firing? Look lilke a pretty good team, and that's with Kitna.

Players should have been cut for what they did in Dallas, if for no other reason than to put the fear back into those guys so they understand that they are not in charge.

Teams don't win with players beleiving they can run things, and when you let players fire the coach with no penalty for doing so...you set an example that is ugly, and sets up the potential for problems down the road. The only teams that ever win consistently are teams that have full respect for their coach, they are playing with fire in dallas
