Tebow 3:16

DENVER (CBS/AP) – One of the most storied NFL playoff teams ran into a rejuvenated Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.

Sorry, Pittsburgh Steelers.

The magic is back.

Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime and the Broncos defeated the stunned Steelers 29-23 in the AFC wild-card game on Sunday. Wild doesn’t begin to describe it. The play took 11 seconds and was the quickest ending to an overtime in NFL history.

Thomas hauled in a high play-action pass at the Denver 38, stiff-armed Ike Taylor and then outraced Ryan Mundy to the end zone. Tebow, who looked as startled as everyone else, headed for his own end zone and knelt on one knee — a gesture known far and wide these days as Tebowing. Then he pounded a fist in triumph and took a victory lap.

“When I saw him scoring, first of all, I just thought, `Thank you, Lord,”‘ Tebow said. “Then, I was running pretty fast, chasing him — Like I can catch up to D.T! Then I just jumped into the stands, first time I’ve done that. That was fun. Then, got on a knee and thanked the Lord again and tried to celebrate with my teammates and the fans.”

Behind Tebow’s 316 yards passing, the Broncos (9-8) are heading to New England for a second-round game against the top-seeded Patriots on Saturday night.

Patriots will put up 666 yards of offense this week. King Diamond will be honorably captain for the coin toss.

It sure sounds like a bunch of people lost their tails in here on Sunday. You guys are breaking my heart. The fact that people were stupid enough to wager against a team because they do not like the religious beliefs of that teams QB shows just how totally ignorant and brain dead a lot of people have become. You guys deserve to lose your money. That is like wagering against a team because they have a Black QB, or a Black Head Coach. Now a lot of you clowns are crying and laughing about this. Unfortunately for you people out there who are doing this, there is a special place for you to spend the rest of eternity, and I hear that it is rather warm down there. Thats where a lot of you are going to end up. Wagering against a team is your choice. Wagering against a person because he has a deep religious belief is totally stupid.

I believe that a persons religion is their own business. A also believe that people who wager against another person because of that religion are crazy. I am not going to tell you what religious beliefs you should have. That is none of my business. That is your choice. I have made my choice, and that choice may surprise you. I will say this. I handled smart a**es like you every day of my working life, and you fools all ended up the same way. Getting your tails kicked, one way or another. You people have a lot to learn.

JYD no one gives a shit about what you think or the reasoning behind why they lost their bets yesterday. People capped the game and made their decision. The kid played beyond his ability to throw the football and everyone knows it. How about next time instead of criticizing me or anyone else that lost a bet yesterday you go spend some time doing some research so WP doesn't embarrass you again!
