Bengals could sit everybody and I still wouldn't be that shocked if the Jets don't score 10 points let alone cover by 10 points. This is the same Jets team that two weeks ago in a must win at home against a Falcons team that is absoloutely brutal on the road managed to score 7 points total and lose the game. This is definitely a game that I will not be going anywhere near and really wouldn't be that shocked to see the Bungles still win this game and screw the Jets over.

As a die-hard Jets fan myself, I must take this opportunity to send a very warm thank you to Mr. Bill Polian.

Also, for those going nuts about the line, let me suggest an alternative perspective:

1) What the line is telling you more than anything else is that conventional wisdom right now is simply that the Bengals will mail in the game. (Remember, if the Jets win, they are ABSOLUTELY locked into playing the Bengals in the first round of the playoffs)

2) I would like the Jets chances very much EVEN IF the Bengals were playing their starters and giving an all out effort. Simply put, the Bengals haven't played particularly well down the stretch. The only team they have beaten in the last month is the dreadful Kansas City Chiefs, and even that accomplishment, was quite a chore for them. They have had a lot of trouble moving the ball through the air all year long and they are playing the number one pass defense (and number one overall defense) in the league.

3) The Jets have quietly won 4 out of their last 5 games and are playing extremely well on defense and also have the number 1 rushing offense in the NFL.
