Is there any value tonight?

I don't see any. Tempted to take the points but I am not sure if the Jets suck or not. Someone tell me why to take their side. over/under or points i don't care...i would like to play something small so that i have interest at least.

new yorker here, and i can't find any reason why you would put your money on the jets. they are overrated especially this year and at best a 6-10 team. not to say that im willing to lay the 9.5 wood either

Bolts have struggled 1st 2 weeks and are banged up, right? So why are they giving so many pts? Because Vegas wants public on the big dog, so I'm taking the Chargers in what will be a one-sided beat-down. By the way, fade me because every time I share my opinion around here, I lose

after doing some research i think jets are the way to go. SD is waaay overrated. last year their numbers were very similar to the jets - and that is minus favre. plus the jets o-line is much better this year and SD has several injury issues.

2007 stats:

jets offense: 294.7 ypg, 4.7 ypp, 17.9 ppg
chargers offense: 315.2 ypg, 5.1 ypp, 17.4 ppg

jets defense: 331 ypg, 5.2 ypp, 19.7 ppg
chargers defense: 320 ypg, 5.1 ypp, 18.6 ppg

give me the points. i don't love it but i think it is the way to go. LET'S GO JETS!

Bolts -8 . Chargers are Pissed after that bogus call last wk. in Denver plus they have to keep up w/ Broncos in AFC west. S.D. takes it to the jet lag Jets!!!! Pound It!!!!!

Total should be 41-42. With it at 45 they are beggin you to go under. Take the over.

Despite their 1-1 record, the Jets have improved defensively. And they shored up a major hole on their O-Line when they signed Alan Faneca. It may not look great statistically thus far, but in the long run, this was a great move on their part.

Kellen Clemens was sacked 27 times last year and Pennington 26.
Thus far, Favre has been sacked 5 times in 2 games. (3 vs MIA and 2 vs NE)

Defensively, the Jets are very improved. Currently they're 7th in Points Allowed (16.5), 7th in Total Yards Against (268.5), 14th in Passing Yards Against (192) and 6th in Rush Yards Against (76.5). Considering who they've played, those numbers are a bit skewed, but it still suggests that they're on the right track.

I like that a lot of people count the Jets out of this game. Because Favre can definitely finish games in the 4th quarter (40 career 4th quarter or overtime comeback victories), and so far this year, the Chargers are 0-2 with a 4th quarter lead.

Just my thoughts.
