Sage Rosenfels: (Ankle) Unlikely to Play

Update: Rosenfels (ankle) is unlikely to play in Friday’s preseason game, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Recommendation: He’s missed practice this week with the injury even though it’s described as minor. Brett Favre(notes) will likely start and play one series on Friday with Tarvaris Jackson(notes) and Josh David Booty getting the rest of the work




Now I particularily did care because originally I was on the Vikes but have now bought off of them and will eat some juice instead. I liked the Vikes chances with Sage being in there from early reports that he was going to see significant playing time tonight after Favre came out but I don't feel the same way knowing that it will probably be Jackson getting the majority of playing time.

Just thought I would pass this info on to anybody who cares. Good luck on whoever you play tonight.

I clicked on your link and also checked out the Minneaapolis Star Tribune and couldn't find the story you mentioned about Sage Rosenfels. I must be looking in the wrong place. Can you assist me?

Way down in the game Preview I found Sage, "Seems doubtful." I'm on Chiefs as per my earlier post in any event.
