We have another Monday Night Football game tonight with two quarterbacks facing off that have competed against each other on the big stage before. Despite both being in the league for a few years now, both QB Matt Leinart and QB Vince Young have not faced off against each other since the epic NCAA championship game back in 2006. Young led the Titans to a last play victory over the Cardinals last season late in the year, but that was against Kurt Warner, and even Leinart has said that he did experience some deja-vu during that game.
Well with nothing on the line tonight (expect for possibly Leinart’s starting QB position) the two get another chance to square off on national t.v. Both teams played over the total in their first pre-season game last week, both won ATS, but only the Cardinals won SU. The line opened up at -3 for Tennessee tonight but has been bet upwards now to -4 which is likely where it will close. With WR Larry Fitzgerald out for the rest of the pre-season and WR Early Doucet resting tonight for the Cardinals, Arizona will likely struggle moving the ball down-field. They can work more with the running attack, but the QB battle between Leinart and Derek Anderson has reportedly heated up over the past weeks, and both know they have a legit shot at being the #1. Anderson should see some significant action tonight and if he does want to win the starting job he will look to be efficient while taking his shots when they are open. Tennessee’s offense is about the running attack and that is what they should focus on tonight. Teams that like to run the ball shorten the game by taking so much time off the clock, so unders are often a good way to go in those spots. Tonight’s number of 37 is one of the “key numbers” in totals betting, as it is the number quite a lot of scores can end up on. After last week’s injuries it is tough to see the Cardinals extending their starters for any significant time the rest of the pre-season, so it really is tough to back a team that is in the spot of trying to remain healthy, rather than put their best foot forward. I am leaning towards the home team and the under in tonight’s contest, but I think it is just one of those games to watch as a fan, take notes as a bettor and keep the bankroll stagnant tonight. source:NFL Preseason Preview: Arizona vs Tennessee « Belmont.com

arizona bites, the will only score in this game if Titans put 3rd team in ... or if Young makes a turnover TD!
