Not a phins fan but I've met tony a few times. His aunt is my aunt is my neighbor. Just think if he has the talent he can get the job done. He's in a tough division. Put the dolphins in the nfc west n they r prob hosting a playoff game next week. I guess u can say that about 80% of the teams. Maybe I'm biased cuz he's a nice guy but don't think he deserves all the blame

They had major O-line issues this season - some of that was misjudging talent, while some of it was injuries and bad luck. Not sure Henne is going to grow though - shouldn't be making some of the stupid plays he's been making - lots of times without any pressure on him.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will be in Florida on Monday and will meet with coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland this week at some point, according to a team source. Ross has been out of the country and didn't attend Sunday's game, a 38-7 loss to the New England Patriots. In what could have been the last chance to save Sparano's job, the Dolphins lost in a rout -- a fitting end to a dud of a season. Neither Chad Henne nor Tyler Thigpen could do much with the offense as Miami fell behind 38-0 before a late touchdown helped the team avert its second shutout of the season. Sparano led the Dolphins (7-9) to the playoffs in 2008, his first season as an NFL head coach -- their only postseason appearance since 2001 but Miami is 14-18 since then.
