Talking Trade Romo for Peyton??

Luck is coming to town, the HC is out, seems like the Colts are ready to move on without Peyton, right?

What if they could get Romo, M. Bennett, and the #14 pick for Peyton?

Would you do it if you were JJ? Would you if you were the Colts?

Peyton is gonna be rumored to go lots of different places and many still have doubts about Romo, so why not get the Boyz in the discussion? lol

Thoughts?

Y not trade for Chris Reeves? They both had catastrophic neck injuries that they will never return from, at least Reeves was Superman....

So you wouldn't do this deal if you were the Colts? Fair enough, just curious as to what others thought as I saw this senario and thought it was food for thought......purely hypothetical obviously but if Luck is your future anyway you at least get a good qb for the short term and you get to draft two of the top 14 spots in the draft......that pick then possibly turns into more picks as someone might want to trade up for later picks......Romo in itself obviously wouldn't be enough

luck will start from day 1

Peyton has a huge roster bonus that kicks in before the league offseason starts, they would have to pay him the bonus to trade him, so that will not happen.....too big a cap hit....he either gets cut before the bonus is due, or they keep him....

Thems the facts....

Can't trade for Peyton... Romo was pretty good this year... Boys just suck on D.... And Garrett top needs to do a much better job of play calling.... Terrible

couldnt be farther from the truth, they have WAY more needs

and clearly this trade would be bad for the cowboys on top of that

They will just release him, they will not trade him...
