Tuna leaves Fish when team is sold

Just a heads up to Miami fans, enjoy your one year wonder and incredible season. Wayne H is going to sell the team and when he does the Tuna is hitting the road with his 12 million dollars. Thats right a deal was made that if the team is sold the Tuna gets all of his money and then he walks away from the team. Could be a one year wonder for the Fish and yes the team is for sale.

This was in process for a long time. Wayne sold the team last year, it goes to 95% when Dolphins year is over, old news for Dolphins fans. Tuna is not going anywhere but if he does, he already put in the foundation.

Steven Ross (new owner) and partner for some time is just like Wayne, let's his football people handle the football.

I would be very worried Jack, the Tuna missing will hurt this franchise. Don't give the organization that much credit, with out the Tuna they will not be the same. The Tuna is leaving at the end of the season, walks away with all his money and perhaps a new job in Cleveland.

I try not to worry about what I can’t control. Whatever happens, happens. I think I will just enjoy where we are from where we came from and see what happens

That's a fair question.

Here is what the new owner said yesterday and really all anyone (fans) can do.

In the glow of victory, Ross downplayed the possibility of Parcells' departure. Ross and Parcells speak daily, and Ross said they have not discussed his exit clause.

"He's the greatest and I would hope he doesn't leave," Ross said. "He's in a great situation, I hope, for him."

Huizenga said the earliest he could finalize the deal with Ross would be two days after the final game. He credited Parcells for "a fantastic job," and acknowledged the clause in Parcells' contract, adding that "he has to decide what he wants to do. ... It's out of my hands. I told him to stick around but I don't know what he's going to do."

Norv Turner or Gregg Popovich have to be one of the few in the running to replace Huizenga. Too much in common to pass on these guys

Interesting, but if the Tuna does leave the Dolphins and I hope he don`t he did a great job in Miami and like Dr. Jack said "he already put in the foundation", but if he does leave I think the Raiders grab him.

The deal has to be finalized before Obama takes office. Wayne is afraid that Obama will raise the Capital Gains Tax on him.

i heard them say he was good friends with Al Davis and would love to go there. FALSE. first of all, Al Davis has no friends. second of all, why the hell would parcells want to ruin his legacy after Al gives him the reins and then takes them away and continues to ruin the team?

Steel this seriously is VER old news for Miami fans. The news of the selling was out months ago and that clause was known in the Summer. Your only 6 months late

Even if he does leave he set them up with a solid GM in Ireland, a coach in Sparano. Thats where its done with the GM and coach, and they will be set there for years whether he stays or goes.
