The Turnover Bowl?

Green Bay wins the title. Or was it more a case of Pitt giving them the title? 21 points off of turnovers was simply too much for Pitt to overcome. The question now becomes this. Did the Pack cause the turnovers, or was it poor play by Pitt. I believe that Green Bay caused those turnovers, with solid hits, and a lot of pressure on Big Ben. I think that the Pack earned the win, and was not given the win by the Steelers. Thoughts gents? I would love to see some of our Steeler fans comment on this.

You cant say they were given the win. They made plays. Its that simple. They were the overall better team and won

every turnover was forced, a testament to great defense

the pick 6, the safety collins read it the whole way, and ben's arm was hit as he passed

the 2nd turnover, was a result of the best man on man cover scheme in the league, blanketing the receiver

the fumble was forced as well

SB teams force turnovers

lets not forget the dropped passes by Jones, and Nelson in this game, could have made it ugly

Turnovers are a part of every game and its something you can't cap. Clay knocking the ball loose from Mendenhall was huge game changer. I love watching him and AJ Hawk play defense. These two can get after it. If the Steelers don't turn the ball over we have a whole different game. By the way, the PUBLIC killed it yesterday books had to take a bath.

all the turnovers were packer induced. the pack won that game and there is not questioning it.

Turnovers are induced yes but the team giving it away can definitely control those mistakes. Mendenhall simply cant fumble there. Also on the pick 6, wtf is ben pump faking to the same side he's throwing to? I dont recall it being a stop and go route...all he did was allow collins to get a 5 yard head start over to that side of the field. Long enough to just get there for the interception.

3 turnovers to 0, 21 pts off those to's...

Pitt could have lived w/ -1 in the TO margin and won the game.

His arm was hit so the ball came up way short. Had his arm not been hit collins would have never been able to pick the ball. Games over and the better team won. Turnovers KILL and that is why the Steelers lost.

I understand he got hit as he was throwing. I'm questioning why he pump faked there. It's just not a good move to use...gave the pass rusher longer to get there and more time for collins to come over. Pump fake needs to be used within the first 2 seconds of a route...not when he used it

People talking about the turnovers... in this specific game... really show their lack of knowledge of the game. Probably the reason those same people go for every single middle opp they can possibly find
