Tyler Thigpen traded to Dolphins

So does he start or Henne?

Good pickup for the Phins. Henne will probably start this week, but unless he shines, not for long.

In this league, the future is very short-term. If Henne struggles, his azz will be benched. Remember Parcels runs this organization with a short-term memory...

guy, this season is a wash....You cant expect to damn much from Henne when he has absoulutely know recievers to throw it to, he will be ok, this will be a good learning expierence....

Still, I think they could find a free agent if they just wanted a backup.

I know guys like Garcia and Feeley have already signed with teams, but if they just wanted a backup, I would think they could find someone and get him cheaper and without having to give up a draft pick

Isn't Henne throwing to the same receivers Pennington threw to last year? Bess and Ginn aren't pro bowlers, but they're not garbage either. I seriously mean this....you're a great understanding fan. I'm a Chiefs fan and still pissed about the $60 mil for Cassel. Even after 3 losses, I still expect a decent product and quick changes if something isn't working! I hope the Phins are successful as I like Sporano and what they did last season.

If Henne avoids the TO's he will be just fine....honestly as much as I like Chad P, this is probably the best thing that happened to the Dolphins this year

Ginn wouldn't see the field on most teams. Bess is a solid #3.

Henne will be given his chance I'm sure but obviously not proven so why not bring in a qb who showed promise & has played

Thigpen showed a lot last year and he's much more mobile than Henne. Obv Parcells shares the same view or he doesnt make the trade

Jack, when you're a Chiefs fan like me, even Ginn looks good. Compared to the Chiefs receivers other than Bowe, Bess looks like Jerry Rice!
