Wade Phillips returning as Dallas coach

Right move or wrong move for Dallas?

I am suprised Jerry Jones is being this patient with him. Thought he would be gone for sure after yesterday

def the right move. Although the Cowboys standards are always way too high (like the yankees) the fact is Wade Phillips is 33-15 in 3 regular season.

He also has won the NFC East twice and had the team in the 2nd round of the playoffs 2 of 3 years. THats great for ANY NFL Team or Coach.

PLus he finally has a locker room he can handle and that respects him, which is key. Not to mention his defense looked great this season wtih the development of some 2nd and 3rd year players.

Where this team is at, it would be taking huge steps backwards to replace him imo.

The main reason they lost that game was the OL which was a huge question mark going into the season. They were man handled all day by a dominate front. They need some serious retooling for this team to go the distance.

Speaking as a cowboys fan I said it again. Cowboys will not playing in the big game with this head coach the romo the homo. Wake me up if i'm wrong. I've been saying this all these years.

have to agree with BFD and disagree with Vegasbet

BFD hit it right on the head......the expectations are always high and sometimes too high.....they won key games in December and got the much needed playoff monkey off their backs but were just not ready to win a championship......Wade did a great job with the defense and deserves to be back next year IMO

really believe they lost a little bit of their "edge" this past week with all the hype surrounding them and walked into Minny like they were the favs......on the flip side Minny had a bit of a chip on their shoulder and played like it.....

would have liked to see the Boyz play with more intensity yesterday.......instead they played like a team that bout into all the hype and was already "crowned" to advance to the NFC championship game

It has nothing to do with Romo, that last game was all on the O-Line....

They got blown up in a bad way and Romo was under pressure everytime he dropped back, it was ridiculous!

kinda hard to fire him... just saying. He took over the defense, and has done a great job with it for the most part. Garrett runs the offense... the players like playing for wade.... I mean I don't see how there can always be this constant talk about firing him.

im happy about my future bet on the cowboys they just happened to run into the only team i said i was scared of all year, but that is why you play futures. Sometimes you get the right path... sometimes you dont but of course it was well worth the play imo
