Ward has done a good job

Ward, as the Giants New York Giants ' backup running back, was in the unique position of needing 52 yards to reach 1,000 for the season, a rare feat by itself and even more special because only three previous running-back duos in NFL history had ever achieved that in the same season.

Ward finished the season with 1,025 yards, averaging a robust 5.6 yards per attempt.

ward is a nice back but 1,000 yards is not much of a feat anymore esp with Jacobs always being hurt

Jacobs only missed 3 games this year, 1 being the game yesterday when there was no need for him to play. I agree that reaching 1,000 yards is not a huge feat anymore, but when 2 RB from same team do it, it is a great feat. Its only the 4th time its ever happened. O-line deserves alot of the credit...

not taking it away from the guy i think he is a starter on alot of teams but he does get a decent workload and he is a great change of pace to jacobs. the o line is one of the best in football so i do agree with u wabash. just because jacobs has only missed 3 games he is sat quite often due to injury or protection from injury

I love Ward, I think he could start for a team and turn into a stud. Love watching him run.
