Thumbs up Week 11 NFL First Glance & Discussion

All odds from thegreek

Miami @ Carolina -3, 43.5
Panthers playing well. My homer side says Fish wins this game. Ronnie Brown will most likely be out.

Buffalo & Jacksonville -9, 42.5
Bills really stink and Jacksonville is probably the worst 5-4 team

San Fran @ Green Bay -6.5, 42.5

Packers defense looked better against Dallas. Lean Niners here

Pittsburgh -10, 40 @ Kansas City
Steelers will be out for blood but a lot of points to a road team that might have some confidence and nothing to lose

Seattle @ Minnesota -11, 46.5
Seattle looked good for a half against Arizona, Vikings are rolling along.

Washington @ Dallas -11, 41.5
Just seems like a lot of points in a division game. Skins coming off a win

New Orleans -11, 51 at Tampa Bay
Don't be surprised to see The Bucs score and keep this one close. Maybe

Arizona -9, 46.5 @ St. Louis
Rams looked a lot better this week vs. Saints

Ny Jets @ New England -10.5, 45
Let's see Belichick of a loss where whole world is talking about him. Jets stink since 0-3 start and oh yeah, Jets talked smack and beat the Patriots this year. Patriots run this one up?

Cincinnati -9, 36 @ Oakland
Like Bengals have ever been a 9 point road favorite? lol. They look good but how much left in the tank do they have after emotional, physical game this week. Raiders could catch them sleeping early.

Philadelphia -2.5, 44.5 @ Chicago
Both teams need a win. Can Jay Cutler come back? Can Eagles win on the road?

Tennessee at Houston -4.5, 48
HArd to believe Titans were 0-6. Houston is in thick of playoff wildcard race if they keep winning.

What are your thoughts?

No parity in the NFL. You have very good teams (about 6), several okay football teams and a good chunk of terrible teams. We'll see what happens

I like the Panthers against Miami.....Ronnie Brown's impact on the Wildcat offense is huge and losing him is going to be a big impact on how they flow. I don't believe Ricky Williams and Chad Henne are going to carry them against a gelling Panther team. DeAngelo and J-Stew get it done BIG at home.

The Saints had MULTIPLE injuries in the secondary. It wasn't hard for the Rams to move the ball on a beat up defense. Arizona playing great on the road and Warner seems to have his swagger back with Boldin/Fitz/Breaton. I like Beanie to have a solid game as well. Cards by 17 or more.

Philadelphia defense is better than Chicago's. McNabb is better than Cutler. Philly offensive line is far better than the Bears. I think the Eagles come into Chicago and make a statement. This is a big game for the Eagles as they try to keep pace in the East. I think the Bears are done.....no chance.

424 - if Carolina can run on Miami I would agree but their run defense is strong. Will be interesting without Ronnie though. I know he hasn't been ruled out officially but looks like books don't care much. Think line was 3 either way

well jets is ranked #1 in rush yds... so i'm sure they will exploit the weak patriots defense. and if jets could run the ball patriots have no chance.. my money on jets win

I agree Jack. I just think losing the "leader" of your offense is a big deal. Ronnie Brown makes the wildcat what it is in Miami. I think going on the road on a short week after a tough win at home will be too difficult.

I hate top say it but I like Carolina. Miami has a handful of key players banged up with the obv one being Brown who is huge to that offense. I think they are going to have their troubles Thursday.

Also like Oakland plus the 9. Maybe im underestimating Cincy still but after that Pitt game going out West I think they win a close one.

I think NE hammers NY. After the SNF loss coming home they wont be down with the Jets coming to town and all the smack the Jets talked/talk, I can see a 31-16 game.

Also really like Philly, they are a better team and NEED a win here. Philly ML seems a good play.
