Week 12 Th/Sun

51-33 + 14.40

Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Pats - 6 1/2 @ Detroit (2)

8-2 vs 2-8 and less than a TD fav is enough for me to gamble on. I know Detroit has been a covering darling at 7-3 ats. They are at home on turkey day an should be fired up. If the truth was known probably most of them can't wait to eat that big turkey dinner with their friends and family right at home in Detroit. Afterall, their not supposed to win. Their 2-8 and out of it. Their not the same team without Stafford at the helm. Brady and the Pats hsould have plenty of offense to take care of business. Like the coach or not, he always has his team ready to play. And the Pats are right in the thick of things. I think they get it done against a team that has already overachieved for the season. Just to many key injures for the Lion's this season.

[
Saints -3 1/2 @ Dallas (2)

Saints have been playing so much better the last 3 games winning by margins of 15, 31, and 10. It's almost like their back in last seasons form. The Cowboy's have a modest two game streak going since they canned Phillips. I know he was a bad coach, but come on, they are still 3-7 and only 1-4 at home. Otherwords, I'm not a believe yet! You tell me who you want your money on thanksgiving day, sitting in front of that TV, Brees or Kitna, that's what I'm talking about I'm not going to be saying what the hell did I bet on the Cowboys for. If I lose I lose with the much better qb abd the team with the much better record. Won't be the fitst time nor the last time I've gone this way.

Cincy @ Jets -9 (2)

Cincy is done! 2-8 vs 8-2 in this game also. Lewis will be the next coach fired or close to it. Jets have done what it takes as they have won 3 close games by 3, 6, and 3. I think they explode in this one. I just hope Palmer doesn't get hurt as I think he may be in duress throughout this game.

Sunday:

Going to wait on some of them because it's getting to the point where the weather could become a factor in some of the games.

Chargers @ Colts -3 (2)

It's very rare that the Colt's lose two games in a row. It's very rare when they lose at home period. They are 4-0 this year at home and the San Diego are 1-4 away.

I'm sure I'll have some more action later on. I want to see how I do on Turkey day first.

good luck

I think you're right about tomorrow. I think Belichick is resting key starters for next week's matchup against the Jets, but will have an offensive gameplan to put the game away early and run out the clock. The Jets will do the same. The Cowboys-Saints game could be the closest of the three, but I would take Brees over Kitna.

2-1 +1.80 on Turkey Day

1/2 away from up 6 units, as Saints blow big lead and lucky to get the W at the end.

53-34 + 16.20

KC @ Seattle +2 1/2 (2)

I got to go with the percentages in this game. Seattle 3-1 at home while KC are 1-4 on the road. Seattle with sounding wins by 24, 7, 12 at home. Their one loss at home was against the Giants without Hasselback at the helm. KC has lost 4 straight on the road the last one by 20 at Oakland. The home team in this series is 8-2 the last 10 years. That KC D may only be giving up 20.7 ppg but on the road they are allowing 28 ppg. I'll take my chances with the home team in this one.

GB @ Atlanta -2 (2)

This should be one heck of a game with two of the better young upcoming qb's in the league. Rogers had to wait to get his chance while Ryan sort of in the right place at the right time. I'm sure Rogers was very pleased to take Favre down last week. That Viking team has turned into the Cowboys. Now that they canned their coach it will be interesting to see how they play at Washington this week. Back to the game, Atlanta will be focused for this big game at home where they are already 5-2. GB are 2-3 on the road so they are vulnerable when away from home. Atlanta scoring just shy of 30 points a game at home. I'll take them and see what happens.

Philly @ Chicago +3 1/2 (2)

Why are the Bears a dog in this game? They are at home, their D giving up only 14.6 ppg, allowing only 78 yards a game on the ground, and riding a 3 game win streak. I'll tell you why. It's the Michael Vick hype. After that performance on prime time a couple of weeks ago he has been getting all the attention. I just got a feeling in this game with that high grass at Chicago along with that hard hitting Bear D that Mr. Vick may not be out standing this game. He may not even make it through this game if he tries running to much on this D. Of course I'm aware that Cutler is liable to turn it over at anytime also. I really think this game will be decided by a fg and I like the extra half point just in case it is.

TB @ Baltimore under 42 (2)

It's getting to be that time of the year where I'm expecting some lower scores in some of these games. This game appears to fit the billing for me. Baltimore D of course is very capable of shutting down offenses. They are only giving up 17.8 a game and that's counting that shootout that has skewed their numbers. TB D not to shabby either. They are giving up 20.6 ppg. I know a lot of people don't put a lot of stock into games in the past, or trends, but I'll try anything to try and find an edge. The last 4 games in this match up have all gone under the number.

* Under is 9-2 in TB last 11 games in Week 12.
* Under is 10-4 in TB last 14 games as an underdog.
* Under is 12-5 in TB last 17 games overall.

Good luck my friends
