Week 16 MNF Action!

1-0 last night.

Saints -6.5 -110 Warning: homer play! No real capping, and this is a very public play. Rooting for the Saints anyway, and probably would've laid off if it wasn't the MNF game. Saints have been awesome at home, though, and they are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 3-10 pts. Atlanta 1-4 ATS last 5 on MNF.

These games have been close recently, but Mike Smith's nuts tend to shrink up under the big lights. Saints will be fired up playing at home on MNF and with the opportunity to help their leader surpass Marino's yardage record as well as take the NFC South. D line has been playing better. I think we win by more than one score tonight.

No. I swear, I keep telling my wife to make sure she doesn't work on game days. I give her the schedule, but then she forgets. If we don't go next week, it's home playoff game or nothing this year, and those tickets are like a ba-jillion dollars.

I havent bought a drink at the Dome in a few years. Before 2004 you could buy a 32oz Abita Amber draft for $6. The next year all premium beers came in 16oz bottles for $6. I've been toting a flask ever since. If you ever bring one, make sure it's not metal. They use metal detectors now before you pass thru the turnstiles.

And with a flask, you can buy the big souvenier Dome cups with Coke or whatever and just mix.

They used to give me beer in those big cups if I asked, then a couple years ago, I guess the wrong large black woman was within earshot, and I thought there was going to be an international incident. That's when I learned that those cups are for fountain drinks ONLY and anyone who gives me beer in one is fired.

That's it. I spend exactly $5.25 at every game on a 32 oz souvenir cup of Coke and dump a half pint of rum in it. The wife and I hate donating any more cash to Benson than we already are for games. We even park over on Earhart to park for free (except for night games - a little too sketchy)
