Week 2 MNF Action!
Started out okay yesterday, but finished with a big loss, as the Giants weren't even close!

Loving the Saints tonight, and it's not just a homer play!

Saints -5 -110 Top play! Big bucks, no whammies! I'm generally prone to taking 5 points as it covers those key numbers, but I think the Saints win this one by a mile. Breesus vs Alex Smith -- no comparison. Drew has twice the QB rating. Offensively, Drew has far more weapons that Smith has, and if Noo Awlins gets out in front by a couple TDs or more, that takes Gore out of it. SF was 1-for-15 on 3rd down last week against the same Seattle team that looked like garbage yesterday. Saints D looked good week 1, shutting Minny down. Saints have scored 30+ in each of their last 4 against SF, winning all. The Saints are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings in San Francisco. The Saints are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 meetings. The favorite is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.

Niners can't score with Alex Smith. Great field goal team. So unless you think that NO will only score 16 and the Niners win 17-16 then I would play the Saints. I see the Niners contending in first half. Play under in First Half. Payton will make better second half adjustments than Singletary. Final score 27-17 Saints.

Niner -- agree on SF as a FG team. I've been putting out a prediction of Saints 41-9 for tonight.

BSG -- yep, that's how they get you....scare you with a bunch of rules that can't be tested while you're alive. IMO, Breesus > Jesus. JC had the height, but not much of an arm, and he never had much escapability running around in those mandals.
