Week 4 plays and thoughts

Patriots -2 (2)

Not jumping on the Ravens band wagon just yet. I can't get real excited because they beat KC, SD, and Cleveland. Sort of a strange line but I would have taken Pats up to -3. Probably why I'm losing!

Washington -7 (2)

A lot fo people down on the Skins before they lost to Detroit. Now it's even worse for them. Thing is, a win in this one and your standing 2-2 an right back into the thick of things. The Skins are not this bad!

Dallas -3 (2)

Denver 3-0 and have covered all 3 games against the spread. COMEON, who have they beat. A lucky play gave them the W in the cincy game, the W over hte raiders was certainly nothing to brag about, and throw in the hapless Browns, and I'll gald take my chances with the Cowpokes in this one.


The rest of the games. No action on any of them as of now.

Houston giving 9 1/2 at home is tempting to me on this one. Raiders having a lot of trouble on offense and may struggle to keep up with Houston in this one. Close to play but just not convinced yet.

Jacksonville +3 at home really seems weird. It's like so tempting to pass up. If only Tenn wasn't undefeated heading into this game. NO PLAY

Cincy -6 at Cleveland is efinitely tempting. If Cleveland was starting Quninn I'd definitley play Cincy. I just got a bad feeling about this one as I think Anderson plays much better than last weeks 3 interceptions. NO PLAY

KC +9 at home vs the Giants was also calling for a play. The fear of the Giants and the record pf KC makes it hard to play on them. Wouldn't suprise me on bit if they get some breaks they hang around in this one. Tough to put your money on shitty teams but it's the NFL and anything can happen. If it gets up to 10, I'm going for it.(leaning)

Bears -10 over the Lions, Just to many turnovers for the Bears so far this season. How will the Lion come out this week now that the streak is over? I'm not giving up DD"S to find out, nor am I going against the Bears at home. NO PLAY

Jets +7, very tempting to take the TD with this D. I'm more worries about Jets offense keeping up if they get behind. Saints are to hot to gpo against right now for me. NO PLAY

Dolphins +1, To hard for me to go with the rookie QB in his first start. Although I think Miami is still better than 0-3, they could very possibly start out 0-4. Buff you never know how they are going come out. I'd take them for sure if this game was at Buff. NO PLAY

49er -9 1/2, Should have gambled on this one because it's most likely going to hit 10. Rams have no offense, it's just that 49ers eat clock, it will be tough for them to cover a DD spread in my opionion. NO PLAY


Pitt -6 1/2, Oh so close to a play for me on Pitt. I may play the over on this game as I rreally want to see what the weather is supposed to be for this one. I think Ben will go for TD's as the Pitt offense can't depent on theri fg kicker right now. San Diego always a scoring threat with Rivers at the helm. What's LT Status for this game?

Vikes -3 1/2, Man is this one tempting, at home the Vikes, at GB I know who i'm taking. (lean Minny)

Decided to go with my first thoughts on this one. That is the champs get it together and put some points on the board. Long way for the Chargers to travel vs a very angry team. I like this young coach for Pitt and I honestly believe they are at least a TD better than the Chargers.

I'll take it! Feel very lucky to hang on for the cover. I really thought GB got a lot of questionable calls in this one. Sure glad that dude dropped the TD pass.
