Week 8 already

It's going quick. Teams continue to suprise me week after week, after week!!! Anything is possible in the NFL. No dd's spread this week. No home dogs. And here I am trying to figure out the impossible because I'm hooked.

I think this is going be a very close game one way or the other. Jets are fresh and have had a a lot to time to prepare for this game. Rogers is making a lot of big plays for GB. The Jets have been good ats at 5-1 and have turned into a very popular team due to their coaches philosophy. I just think 3 too many points in this game.

Denver @ Frisco under 41 1/2 (2)

Frisco may play even more conservative than they already play due to the QB injury. Noone really knows what Smith can do. I would pound Gore, then pound Gore again etc. Denver D should have something to prove after that awful display last week against Oakland. Neither offense has been on fire and both teams are in desperate need of a W. Hopefully a game of fg's and I'llbe happy.

Miami @ Cincy ML -120 (2)

In one of the most strangest things for the NFL, you have the Dolphins at 3-0 on the road and 0-3 at home. That just isn't right. Cincy, although they lost last week finished strong. They just ran out of time. I'm thinking they feed off that and finally play a game from start to finish. Stats are very close bwteen the teams. I always give the home team a 3 point edge and another 3 for whom I consider the better qb. So of course I got the Bengals line at -6. I'll play them on the ML in this case because the price is right.

Carolina @ Rams under 37 (1)

I wasn't going to play this total but then they said Jackson is going to play. He eats up so much clock when he runs the ball. He usually has to be gang tackled and that takes more time to get up from the pile nad back to the huddle. Hey, I'll try to find an edge anywhere I can even if it is ridiculous. Carolina D has been playing pretty decent and we aleady know how bad their offense is this once again this year. Rams D not to shabby as they are only giving up 18.7 ppg. Now watch there be a kickoff return or punt return for a quick score. This usually happens to me when I bet under!!!

Tenn @ San Diego -3 1/2 (1)

I lost on them last week. Some pretty dumb shit by a couple of their players. A ton of to's and they still almost won the game. Tenn has been killing me this year as they are 5-2 straight up and 5-2 ats. Young is back and hopefully rusty for this game. Rivers is a gamer whether you like him or not. He'll give it all he's got and I thnk they get it done as that dam half point is begging for Titan money imo.

Pitt @ Saints ML -105 (2)

I just don't think Saints offense can score enough points any more without a running game. To many weapons still missing. I don't now if Thomas will play or not for the Saints. Besides, I want to be on the side of the team that gets all the calls. J/k Not really!

Buff @ KC under 46 (2)

Buff last 4 games have soared over the total and 3 out of the last 4 have gone over for KC. They set this number high. I see why they did, but I don't think will happen in this one. Under is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings. I'm hoping with this high number that by Sunday maybe the wind just might pick up and make things difficult. Although that's just hopefull wishing on my part. I really hope a lot fo the drives only result in fg's and then I stand a chance in ths one.

GB @ Pats -5 (1)

So he says he's going to play Sunday and that's just fine with me. I admire his courage. The truth is he's not healthy and he's killing his team with to's. Pats are at home and I have to go with a healthy Brady. I may be getting suckered in but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Buff +7 1/2 @ KC (1)

I wasn't going to bet this game because I've been impressed with KC so far this season. They are 4-2 but their 4 wins are over teams with a combined record of 8-20. Now granted Buff is winless at 0-6 but they have been competitive in most of their games. It's tough to play back to back road games but it's also tougher to win by 2 scores in the NFL. Buff is a hungry team right now and I think they keep it close. Buffalo are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games on grass.

My thoughts on the other games:

No bet on Denve/Frisco side: If I bet it I'd take Denver. They looked pathetic last week. Frisco with a new qb and a team that keeps beleiving what everyone is telling them: your not out of it yet: almost, I did bet the under as stated in my write-up.

Jackson/Dallas

No way I'm touching this win. Jackson starter may play, Kitna had to get better, Dallas in a panic, Jackson one of the most inconsistent teams I've ever seen play. I wouldn't even watch this game. Forced to play it, Dallas and under.

Wash/Detroit, Came close to betting the over. Line suprised me as I thought it might be a pick. Forced to play it I'd go with the home team and over.

GB/Jets, You know I already bet the Pack. I just think it will be a fg game. Jets games have gone over but I think this one would stay under.

Carolina/ Rams, already bet the under, Rams would be my bet if forced to play, they are gaining confidnece and the rookie qb is getting better every week.

Miami/Cincy, Looks to easy to take Miami, I wrote up Cincy, total is tough one, I would lean on the over.

Buff/KC Already wrote it up, like Buff and the under

Tenn/SD Suckered in again with SD, probably the over if forced

TB/Zona, Only thing that stopped me from playing TB is the distance, Zona team struggling but this one smells funny to me, if forced TB and under.

Seattle/Oak, What a roll Oakland is on, can they win two in a row, I'm not betting on it, Seattle playing well, but now I'm not that impressed with their road win at Chicago. If forced Oak and under

Minny/Pats Already wrote up the Pats, I think GB may play conservative with Favre a hurting, under if forced to bet,

Pitt/Saints Already wrote up Pitt, truth is Saints just struggling, they are capable, Pitt d pretty tough and Ben in his 3rd game back now, the QB' may try to out duel each other, still lot of points, I just don't like betting unders in a Saints game, over if forced

Houston/Texas Oh you can bet I'll be on this game! Most likely the over. It's good advice never to bet against Manning on primetime. Don't think the Colts don't remember the things said after the opening day loss to Houston. Thing is it may happen again.

Just rambling on with a alcohol buzz on.

It may not work but the emphasis for the Colt's is to stop the run first. Houston ran all over them last game. Coach also said he wants td's not fg's. Does that mean the Colt's open it up more, or go for it on 4th down in the red zone? Who knows for sure, it's a gamble

Already have Houston +15 and over 41 in a teaser. Now I'm takin gthe Colt's and I am a homer. Those of you that know me, know that I bet against them when I think their giving to many points just because of their rep. If I remember the attitude of the Texans after their win, (acting like they won the suber bowl and coach saying it's time to take over the division), then I'm sure most of the Colt players will be extra fired up. I'm aware that the Colt's could lose this game straight up. But I'm betting on the Colts this time.
