"this is the week the books start making money" is a myth..

public will try to get cute this week thinking that...balt has already lost most of its value

hasselbeck confirmed out but line still -1.5 hmm....obvious pick is GB right? one game to stay away from

look for detroit..they are playing a gimped offense in Minnesota...keep in mind they are 0-4 ATS..if they do not get a cover here...i expect vegas to wise up next week

Both of these teams, Det and Min, are at the very bottom of the power rankings when it comes to betting. They are 32 and 25, respectively, for all stats ATS and SU. This game is not a sure thing by any means for either team to cover.

not saying it is as i think st.louis has a better chance of covering..but i think week 6 is a good number to start gauging the parity in teams throughout the NFL...if detroit does not show up we may see lines like we saw for the patriot's last year, except in reverse
