What do you people think about the detroit/tampa game???

I am a firm believer that the 3 nfc south teams having 10+ wins last year is a ghost of success. nfc south had the weakest schedule of any division last year if you ask me and I don't think any of them are that good(saints looked better than i thought they would tonight/maybe they are good). anyways, detroit has been looking better and better by the week. Im thinking people are putting too much stock into josh freeman and the bucs. I want to take the lions but what do you people think???

i lean tampa. Everyone seems to think Tampa is this trendy team that was good last year but wont be so good this year, but i just don't see any good reason for that logic. If you put a gun to my head, I'd go bucs -1.5, however i wont be touching the game

Thanks guys,

Probably gonna pull the trigger on Detroit in the end. I'm not so sure people don't still think Tampa is good. Im sure people do still think Detroit is good, at least the people who don't look at them with blinders (maybe that is what I am doing with TB but Detroits division and schedule last year was MUCH stronger)

this is a pass IMO, too many question marks, I think both teams are up and coming

Detroit is built around their speed and to play on turf...

I love Detroit... I honestly think if they were in ANY other division in the NFC they'd have a shot at a playoff spot. I am sure they are better than Tampa. Not only does Freeman have to have another great season, Blount has to continue to develop for that team to even sniff at 8-8.... The Lions D is looking more and more like it is finally ready to dominate, their O-Line looks solid for the first time in a LONG time and Megatron has already been a BEAST with a revolving door of QBs.... Stafford stays healthy and he has a monster year, starting in week 1...

I love Detroit also, but may pass this game. This game could really go either way with just a bad play and either team could make that bad play. I'll probably play Detroit small, just because.

I'd stay away, but like TB. Lions are getting WAY to much love. They have great talent at certain positions, but holes everywhere else.

Too much love for Detroit. Never been a good road team. Tampa at home makes the difference.
