When did david stern become the commish of the nfl ???

Gonna write this while the game is tied so i dont get accused of being bitter

forget my bet

forget who im rooting for

win or lose... Ive watched an injustice

its painfully obvious the refs have been told to do everything possible to help farve win this game

go ahead and bash me

i have 2 eyes.

Bullshit non existant penalties in key situatiions

i dont care if the saints end up winning this game by 20

it was a disgusting display

and for the farve fans that will come in here and bash... Do u want his legacy tarnished like this

that he needed help from the officials to win the game ?

Lets make farve the hero !!!

That injury reminded me of paul pierce acting like he got shot in the finals 2 yrs ago

too bad the 6 turnovers are making it more obvious

im sure farve , the refs and the commish are pissed about that also

its like " hey what else do you want us to do ? Can u guys hold on to the fuking ball ? "

I disagree Greek. Vikings dominated the game, yet Saints still right there.

Which call(s) did you not agree with?

No call when Brees just got buried in OT, but Favre got the call on the same hit.

Any of the 3 pass interference calls

The late hits

that will happen when you get 100 + penalty yard gift wrapped by the refs

especially on 3rd downs

heres the difference, the vikings player did not LAND on drew brees with his entire body weight, nor did he pick him up and drive him to the ground. he landed on the turf overtop of him and did everyone in his power to ensure he didnt land on drew brees.. however, favre was picked up and driven into the ground with the full body weight of the defender.... clearly a penalty

taken straight from the rulebook .. Rule 12, section 2, article 12 from the NFL rulebook:

'2) A rushing defender is prohibited from committing such intimidating and punishing acts as “stuffing” a passer into the ground or unnecessarily wrestling or driving him down after the passer has thrown the ball, even if the ru...sher makes his initial contact with the passer within the one-step limitation provided for in (1) above. When tackling a passer who is in a virtually defenseless posture (e.g., during or just after throwing a pass), a defensive player must not unnecessarily or violently throw him down and land on top of him with all or most of the defender’s weight. Instead, the defensive player must strive to wrap up or cradle the passer with the defensive player’s arms.'

damn GG, i cant believe you actually thought the saints were getting cheated, i was an innocent bi-standard in this game and thought EVERY call went the saints way towards the end of the game.

also cant believe i wasted my 10,000 post on this, but i STRONGLY disagree with you

what? Ive said this many time, and Imnot even speaking on this particular game

but if there were such a thing as fixes, not that I beleive in it, it would be done for much bigger reasons than a bookie purse

political and social reasons
