Its not because of his hands. Its because of his physical stature in general. Hes named after Megatron, the transformers character, whos basically a giant beast. Calvin Johnson is the most physically unique player in the nfl arguably. Hes 6'5 230 lbs, not an ounce of fat, can jump as high as any basketball player, huge hands, and is one of the fastest players in the league. The one word to describe him is "freak", hes just a freak of nature. Guarding him 1 on 1 is an impossibility. If your as big as him he'll just run past you. If your as fast as him he'll just jump over you or overpower you.
