Why Minnesota won't win the Super Bowl

This is our coach

Vikings coach Brad Childress dressed up as a female flight attendant during the team's flight to Pittsburgh on Saturday, ESPN reported.

Childress told ESPN's Rachel Nichols it was a reminder to his players, which entered Sunday at 6-0, that they needed to block out pressure as they girded for a test against the Steelers.

"It's just a game," Childress told Nichols (via Twitter). "Have fun."

The coach donned a wig, blue nylons and lipstick (framed around his beard). ]ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Childress had warned the team earlier that they're to give the utmost respect to flight attendants.

The players, Nichols said, all enjoyed the gag.

Hey Gerk do me a favor and track down the crossdresser and ask him why on that last play he didn't kick the fieldgoal and get my friggen over. That over not hitting cost me over $3000 in profits yesterday

In all seriousness, New Orleans is the team to beat, but I think the Vikings showed me alot yesterday, even in defeat.

The defense without Winfield was much better than I thought. Besides the end of the first half, they played great.

Favre, even in defeat, was very good yesterday. Actually think they match up with New Orleans better than some of the other contenders, especially if they have to go there to win a game vs. NY or some cold destination.

We will see. Winfield, I think will miss this week's game, but then they have a bye and I think it looks like he could be back after that.

NewOrleans will end up with homefield for the playoffs. This week Saints knock off the Falcons and the Packers knock off the Vikes and the Saints will have a 2 game lead over the Vikes for homefield.

Believe me, I was on it too. You need two scores, Kick a FG and then do the onside is your only chance. That was bad.

AP putting the CB William Gay on his ass late in the game, one of my favorite memories of the year so far.

That was classic.

I think we saw yesterday a team in the middle of a sandwich situation with their huge win last week against the GMen and next a Monday night game against the Falcons.

As soon as the Saints woke up from their slumber the Fish didn't do much at all.

5 out of the Vikes 7 games this year they have given 20 or more points up, don't think the Vikes D is nearly as good as it was the last couple of years and the Saints D is better than it has been in the past few years.

i think you can run on the saints. the fins problem is they couldnt balance it out with the pass. the vikings however, pose almost and equally deadly passing attack. the saints dont really have a prayer at stopping the vikings offense imo

To be fair, two defensive TD's yesterday that go on the offense. If you check out the season, very few long drives. Most are field position or special teams TD's or other teams defensive TD's

Actaully think defense is getting better and still not sold on New Orleans defense. When it comes down to it, again, think Minny matches up very well vs. New Orleans
