Why are the packers favored??

The Bears beat them in Soldier by 3. The Pack barely beat the Bear in GB in a "MUST WIN" game. So can anyone answer as to why the Packers are favored???

I think I have a pretty good idea and it is not that difficult. The Packers are favored to entice everyone out there that wants action on this game to take a home dog in the playoffs. I think if the game opened up at a Pk or the Packer by -1 or -2 there would be a lot more action and money on the Pack and the odds makers do not want that. So I should take the Packers right??

Answer: I cant make up my friggin mind.

After all of this being said I may contradict myself and be a sucka and take the Bears because I feel like rooting for them today and think they have the defense to keep it close. If Cutler wants to prove he can be a big time game winner, today is the day! The Packers will most likely win and I hope if they do , it is by one or 2. If I play the Bears or Packers, I am definitely buying 3 pts either direction.

Good luck guys, be back soon with picks.

Also the total at 42 or 43 seems to be drawing a ton of attention on the Under. Yea both meeting this year flew under the total, but with the way these 2 are lighting it up recently Ill be damned if I touch the Under in this game. I mean Seattle threw up some BS Td's against the Bear towards the end there but it only took a few plays to drive down and do it. Hell if Hasselsuck and the Hawks can do it, I am pretty darn sure Rogers and company can do the same. As far as the Bear , I would like to think they can get to 21-24 in this one. I am leaning OVER as of now. Be back with final plays soon.

They are favored because if the Bears were favored, books would have all action on Packers and they need action on both sides. Plus Green Bay is the hot team, they've look great and a lot of bettors only remember last week.

Thunder, yea seems like most are not falling for the line. I might have to hit the Bear and the Over if this keeps up.

SO imagine how much might be coming in on Green Bay if the Bears were favored. Just answered your question on why they favored (although I do like the Bears)

GL with your decision

"The Packers are favored to entice everyone out there that wants action on this game to take a home dog in the playoffs."
I made odds for years, not made book (though I did that also), made odds.
The above theory never enters the conversation.
Pack is favored for a few reasons, such as better stats (check the categories), hotter hand, better QB, public perception.
MLB, pitching wins playoffs. NFL, defense and turnover battle usually decides winners.
Avg PA: Chi 18, GB 15. Bears better rush D, Pack better pass D.
Bears won the turnover battle in the game they won, but on the season, GB is +12 to Chi +3.

I wrote an article, "Myth Busters, Vegas Edition" that I will try and have in to Jack this week after a final edit. Will clear up a lot of misconceptions, such as "Vegas books make odds", trap games, info shared with the public, etc.

Good luck with your play today . . .
