Will the Colts make the playoffs? Value to win AFC?

They play

Jacksonville
at Oakland
Tennesse

They win out & they are in. They'll be favored in all 3 games. If they get in - then you can't count out Manning

Something to think about

AFc South team to win AFC +845 at thegreek

Any shot?

why cant you count out manning? his playoff numbers arent that good, they dont have the playmakers they did in previous years and their defense is crappy

I do think they can win out although at Oak will be tough. It is a road game and Oakland should pound the running game at them. oakland also with a decent pass D which is all Indy has. once in they have a shot probably at decent odds as well.

I mean when you have Manning, it's my opinion you always have a shot. Not saying he's perfect or successful in playoffs but come playoffs if he got hot he could carry a team at any time. Jmo

defenses in the afc are just too good, if youre one-dimensional against the Jets, Ravens or Steelers come playoff time, in January, in either NY, Balt or Pitt, you will lose.

If they were in the NFC, maybe they would have a chance. Green Bay is somewhat similar, but lucky for them they are in the nfc and still have a shot, cause they wouldn't in the AFC

all of those teams have poor secondaries tho so he would be able to throw on them...problem would be stopping people. They cant

I think stats are a little skewed since most teams are playing from behind when playing Pitt or Balt for example, and have to abandon the run game and strictly pass.

Balt in #2 in YPA against the pass
Pitt is #3 in YPA against the pass
NYJ are #5 in YPA against the pass

Not too bad, and if they know that's whats coming, they'll be even better im sure, especially at home in the cold in January

oh, and chargers #1 obviously

I agree with this and also keep in mind that in a lot of those years in the past, the Colts have clinched so early that Manning was resting and not playing much a few weeks before 1st playoff game. This year he will be playing right up until 1st playoff game(if it gets that far) and I think that will keep him sharp for playoffs unlike in past years...
