Will Pats cover?

Pondering putting $500 for Pats to cover the spread.

What's your opinion on this game? I gotta admit, I am a little shook from losing big (for me anyways) on the Vancouver Canucks/Carolina Hurricanes game a few days back.

Edit. Was reading through the pages here, and I assumed the cover was -6 as some others were mentioning, but bodog has it at -8. Doh...

Depends on how the game flow goes ! Denvers passing offense isnt that good matter of fact yds per pass play ranks at bottom of league !

Brady bunch Deion brnach ,wes welker, Ocho Cinco, Gronk, Hrnandez is a lot of weapens to cover for Denvers defense ! I'm seeing Brady taking long sustained drives 5 mins or more and keep going downfield ! This will wear out Broncos defense by keeping them on the field longer than thier pea shooter run grind offense !

PLUS when you look at denvers win streak it aint all too pretty

@ miami then 1st game at home vs a winning team lions got smeared 45-10

next another team who's injuries caught up to them raiders win 38-24 then at KC

win 17 -7 jets on thurs night 17 - 13

@ San D who was floundering around in a losing streak 16 - 13

@ Vikings (another losing team ) 35 - 32 THEN the Bears without thier weapons 13-10

Notice the scores vs losing teams all of them low scoring because those teams had no fire power

NO one has beaten patriots this year 17-10 16-13 13-10 the only team that held Pats under 3 td's was the steelers 25 -17

hOWEVER !talk about being owned ! Patriots @ broncos bad news since 89 real bad and brady him self is 1 - 6 when playing Denver

BOTH teams are fighting for AFC supremecy and homedfield in playoffs

many afc teams have 10 wins ........ Patriots Texans Ravens Steelers

i would not lay $500 on Patriots

The line is steadily going up. I now see Pats -8. Personally, I think Denver comes in under the number (soild defense, good run game & home field. Not to mention, their 6 game win streak). Well, that's my 2 cents. BOL

With the POOLBOY picking the Pats, you'd think for sure they've no shot at covering. I think everything works in their favor here, Broncos not much of a threat to pass, so Pats defense "which is horrible" gets to cover a shorter field, their red zone defense is better than than people think, somewhere around the league average. Belichick will come up with a plan to stop the ALMighty(lmao)Tebow and company, I see a 34-17 game.

I think the Pats cover. During the Broncos winning streak, it seems like every team they played had a lead late and then shifted to some kind of stupid-ass prevent that plays right into Tebow's strength; running the option. Belichick won't alter his defense at the end of the game, he's the keep-the-foot-on-the-throat type of coach who would just as soon try to score late and win by 13 than hold on to win by 6. The Pats will still be running a run-stop defense late with the lead.
