I think not... he just needs to be another Kordell Stewart - I think he'd be pretty good/athletic...

Also - just curiouse to what people think (Sorry UT guys, I have to ask)...
Do you think it's Mack Brown's babying down there (R. WIlliams, C. Benson, VY, Chris Simms), or is it just a coincidence that a few great athletes who are wack jobs have rolled through Austin?

VY will be with the Titans though his contract. Bud Adams loves VY and will not get rid of him. Once he is healthy, Adams may pressure Fisher to start him.

Norm Chow said that VY whined and cried more than any player he has been associated.

This past week, the Titans put him in the press box to "get a different vision of the game." LOL. They put him up there so the fans would not hurt his feelings!

cuz orton is not an NFL starter, even if he is better than any of our other options. Chicago would love VY, because we can accept offensive futility as we have for the past 23 years. We have zero wide receivers, but a young gonna-be-stud RB in Forte. Problem is, bears would not want to send the picks (2nd and 3rd rder??) or pay that huge contract.

He would be HUGE here though.
It'd be a a FRESH start.
And, minus the 1995 Eric Kramer campaign, he'd be the BEST qb we've had in yearrrs.

Also, Chicago tends to get caught up in big names, and Young would be one..

Being used to futility is not a good reason to embrace it...

LOL, well he'd be a new look. He has the tools to be good, but mentally I dont know if he's there. I have not been able to watch much of his NFL career and I know he is statistically terrible but I just think the skills he has to offer far outweigh the skills we have in our qb's or in the available-market.

Was he ever really a NFL QB ? I say no, just another person playing out of position.
