PLAY OF THE DAY:

DENVER BRONCOS -3

Seattle is 1-8 ATS in their last 9 road games. Linesmakers set it low because of both teams' performances in week 1. Seattle is horrible on the road...trust me.

INDIANAPOLIS -5
ATLANTA -6.5
BALTIMORE -2.5
PHILLY -6.5

PLAY OF THE DAY:

NEW ORLEANS -13

This goes against my better wishes to play an NFL team favored by DD but I just can't pass up playing against this terrible Carolina team. They are bad on offense and bad on defense and if you're bad on defense then playing in New Orleans against Drew Brees is not exactly what you're looking for to get back on track.

Carolina is last in the NFL in scoring (10.7 PPG), 31st in yards (260.7 YPG) and 28th in passing and they'll have to pass when their behind today. The Panthers also give up 23.7 PPG and against the Saints, that isn't good.

I honestly think the Saints are the best team in football and are a 25-yard FG away from being 3-0. If they're 3-0 going into this game the line might be -16 or so. Saints roll 34-10.

Denver +6.5
Cleveland +3
St Louis +1.5
Baltimore +2.5
Atlanta -6.5
San Diego -9.5

2010 YTD: 9-7-1

PLAY OF THE DAY:

DETROIT LIONS -3

Can't believe I have a POD on Detroit but these guys are not a bad team IMO. They've been competetive in every game they've played this year. They got down last week to the Packers and came back to bring it within 2 but eventually lost. They came back on Philli and almost won the game and should've won in Chicago. This is a good team with a very good offense and a solid defense. I think J Schwartz has them going in the right direction. It's nice because the city of Detroit really needs it.

BUFFALO -2.5
INDY -7
CINCY -6.5
CAROLINA -2.5
BALTIMORE -7
TENNESSEE +7

PLAY OF THE DAY:

PITTSBURGH STEELERS -13.5

I've said before that I don't like laying a lot of points in the NFL but this one just looks too nice. Making his first NFL start, Brown's QB Colt McCoy will be swarmed today by a great, great D. Playing QB in the NFL is tough enough but to play on the road, against that D and with Ben Roethlisberger back....this all spells trouble. Pittsburgh went 3-1 without Big Ben and actually ran the ball quite well. Cleveland has stayed close in all of their games but that changes on the road today. Lay the points.

TENNESSEE -3

This one is very simple for me. Tennessee is superior in the run game, pass game, offensive line, defense, QB and coaching. To me, they are better in all facets of the game. Could Jax win? Yes they could but I'll back the better overall team on paper.

PLAY OF THE DAY:

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS -6.5

Seattle really showed me something on the road last weekend. Usually, that team would just get destroyed by anybody let alone the Bears but the offense and defense both looked great. Defense was very aggressive and the offense was balanced with Lynch running the ball and M Williams continuing his NFL comeback had 10 catches as they put up a season high 353 yards.

Arizona is not that good IMO. Max Hall is a rookie and this league eats up rookie QB's and I'm not sure ole' Max Hall has played in an environment he's about to be in. Qwest Field is a very loud place to play and with 1st place on the line you can imagine it will be loud as hell today. Think Hall gets sacked 4 times and throws a minimum of 2 picks. Arizona is just not that good and not good on the road. I think their record is deceiving.

Good luck today.

PLAY OF THE DAY:
DALLAS COWBOYS -6.5

I may regret this play but I see Dallas winning this game by 17. Some of you may not know this but Jon Kitna is a very good NFL QB. It took him a quarter to work off some rust but he ended up putting up some very good numbers against the NYG. He's had a full week of practice with the first unit now and I see him running a very efficient offense. I actually think he has more leadership skills than Romo so I'm hoping the offense runs smoothly today.

Dallas outclasses Jacksonville in every single position except for coaching and that may be our downfall. Still think that Dallas is embarrased and looking to take out some revenge on someone and that someone will be Garrard and the Jags. Think Garrard will be a little rusty coming back from a concusion but he may have another one by the end of the game. Dallas rolls.

BEST OF THE REST:
DENVER +2.5
SD -3.5
BUFFALO +7.5
CINCINNATI -1
