Your not so obvious predictions for the 2009-10 NFL Season

Did this last year with much success, including predicting Arizona and Carolina would win their divisions, Clevleand was WAY overhyped, New England would not make the playoffs, Drew Brees would have a MONSTER season, Scott Linehan would get fired before Game 8 and more.

These are predictions that are not as obvious to the eye at first glance

1. While Drew Brees will have another huge year, The man who ends up 2nd in NFL TD passes is Aaron Rogers of Green Bay and that pains me to say it.

2. The AFC team headed for the biggest fall this year is Tennessee. The NFC team headed for the biggest fall is Arizona. Both fail to make the playoffs this year.

3. The Detroit Lions go from 0 wins to 6

4. The best team in the NFC this year, Carolina, Philly, Minnesota, Dallas, New York Giants? ? No, this year the best team in the NFC will be the New Orleans Saints, the NFC's Super Bowl represenative.

5. Which conference teams are most underhyped? NFC team is Seattle, I think Hasselback stays healthy and they win the NFC West. The AFC team is Baltimore. They make the Super Bowl vs. New Orleans.

6. The worst teams in each conference? In the NFC it will be the Tampa Bay Bucs who will take a huge fall to 4 wins this year. In the AFC, it will be the Oakland Radiers and Kansas City Chiefs battling for this dubious honor.

7. The Michael Vick experiment tears the Philly Eagles apart causing fan anger, player dissension, and ultimately ruins their season.

8. The Brett Favre experiment leads Minnesota to an NFC North title, but a first round ouster in the playoffs

9. Tom Cable is watching the Oakland Raiders on cable by Week 9 when he is fired and the fans chant "Bring back Kiffen"

10. NFL Rookie of the Year comes down to a battle between QB Matthew Stafford of Detroit and RB Lesean McCoy of Philly

Just a few to get things started. Feel free to add yours onto the thread.

The Chargers will have the highest scoring offense in the NFL

The Chargers defense will finish in the top 5 in scoring and turnovers

Those are the only two I know as of right now

They will look at the wins increase of Detroit. Detroit will be decent this year. Their O Line is alot better and I think Kevin Jones will have a breakout year

I assume you meant Kevin Smith (Jones being the former Lion now backing up Forte on da Bears).

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I used to hate on Flacco but fact is he has a cannon and is smart

and he hasnt been asked to do more then he is capable

they will slowly open up the playbook as he progresses

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Think Flacco has the chance to be very good and does have the arm to make all the throws. Not entirely excitied about his WR corps, but the defense should give them very advantageous field position alot of times also.

Tampa will when at least 6 games, but they do have the toughest schedule in the NFL.
